Commissioner Precinct No. 4 and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had: NO. 13972 ORDER ESTABLISHING PROCEDURE FOR REFUNDS OF NET PROCEEDS OF ESTRAYED ANIMALS SOLD ti+THEN CLAIM OF FUNDS IS MADE BY ORIGINAL OWNER On this the 26 day of March, 1980, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the necessity for the establishment of a procedure authorizing refunds of the net proceeds of the sale of estrayed animals sold by the Sheriff of Kerr County when claims for same are made by the original owner within one year of the date of sale; and it appearing to the Court that under the provisions of the Estray Act of 1975 (Article 6927a) the Sheriff of Kerr County is required to deposit the net proceeds of the sale of estrayed and unclaimed animals with the County Treasurer of Kerr County for deposit in the Jury Fund of Kerr County; and it further appearing to the Court that the said Estray Act provides for the refund of the net proceeds of sale of an estrayed animal to the original owner thereof provided that the claim is made within 12 months of the date of sale pursuant to affidavit approved by the Sheriff; it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon and unanimously approved by the Court that, upon the filing of an approved affidavit pursuant to applicable i
