APPOINTMENT OF THREE MEMBERS OF THE KERRVILLE-KERR COUNTY JOINT AIRPORT BOARD
RATIFIED
On this the 14th day of April 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that the appointment of A. J. Brough,
Dr. C. C. Jones, Jr. and Harry A. Turnpaugh, as members of the Kerrville-Kerr County Joint
Airport Board, be ratified, for two year terms.

NO. 13979 APPROVAL OF REQUEST OF AIME FRANK REAL FOR USE OF AGRICULTURE EXHIBITION BUILDING
FOR ANNUAL CLUB LAMB SALE, MAY 9th & 10th, 1980
On this the 14th day of April 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved the request of Aime Frank Real, for
use of the Agriculture Exhibition Building, for their annual Club Lamb Sale, May 9th and 10th,
1980, at a charge of $100.00 per day, plus clean-up, and if clean-up is not satisfactorily
performed by user, an additional fee of $150.00 is to be charged.

NO. 13980 SCHOOL TRUSTEE ELECTION RETURNS CANVASSED AND TABULATED
On this the 14th day of April 1980, came on to be considered by the Court the returns
to be canvassed, to determine the results of the School Trustee Election, Divide Common School
District No. 12, held on April 5th, 1980.
Wherefore, the Court having canvassed and tabulated the returns of the above mentioned
District, is of the opinion that said returns, after having been canvassed and tabulated in
Volume 6, Page 89, Record of Election Returns, and as certified by each member of the Commis-
sioners' Court, and upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Garrett,
the Court unanimously approved said returns.

NO. 13981 ORDER CONCURRING IN APPROVAL OF ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT WITH MOTHERAL
INDUSTRIES, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENTS AT CITY-COUNTY AIRPORT
On this the 14th day of April 1980 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
matter of concurring in the approval of an engineering services contract with Motheral Indus-
tries, Incorporated for certain future airport improvements at Louis Schreiner Field, which
contract has been heretofore approved by the City Council of the City of Kerrville on the 19th
day of March, 1980; and it appearing to the Court that it would be in the best interests of
the City and the County to enter into the proposed new contract for engineering services which
will be required for certain planned airport improvements, it is ordered on motion by Commis-
sioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon and unanimously approved by the Court that
Kerr County concur in the approval of the aforesaid contract with Motheral Industries, In-
corporated, and that the County Judge be authorized to sign the said contract on behalf of
Kerr County.

NO. 13982 APPROVAL OF PROPOSED SPECIFICATIONS FOR AIRPORT FENCING
On this the 14th day of April 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved the proposed specifications for Airport
Fencing as submitted by the City of Kerrville and that Kerr County pay one-half of the costs
of fencing, upon completion.

NO. 13983 RESIGNATION OF IRMA GUERRERO, DEPUTY COUNTY CLERK OF KERR COUNTY
On this the 14th day of April 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded

as Deputy County Clerk, be ratified and confirmed, with regret, effective April 30th, 1980,
and that she be granted two weeks leave with pay, through May 14th, 1980.

NO. 13984 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF EMMIE M. MUENKER, COUNTY CLERK, FOR APPOINTMENT OF
MARY ANN MUMME, DEPUTY COUNTY CLERK AND MARY C. HANSON, DEPUTY COUNTY CLERK
On this the 14th day of April 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded
by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved the application of Emmie M. Muenker,
County Clerk, for authority to appoint and deputize Mary Ann Mumme as Deputy County Clerk and
Mary C. Hanson as Deputy County Clerk, and that their salaries be fixed at $7080.00 per annum
ach, effective the date of their qualifications, April 14th, 1980, payable out of Officers
Salary Fund.

NO. 13985 RESIGNATION OF DOLORES BONHAM, SECRETARY TO COUNTY ATTORNEY
On this the 14th day of April 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of Dolores Bonham,
as Secretary to the County Attorney, be ratified and confirmed, effective 3/28/1980, and that
she be granted eight days leave with pay, for the period subsequent to March 31, 1980.

NO. 13986 TRANSFER OF $10,000.00 FROM GENERAL FUND TO OFFICERS SALARY FUND
On this the 14th day of April 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and County Treasurer
be authorized to transfer the sum of $10,000.00 from the General Fund to the Officers Salary
Fund

NO. 13987 TRANSFER OF $9,000.00 FROM GENERAL FUND TO JAIL OPERATING FUND
On this the 14th day of April 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and County
Treasurer be authorized to transfer the sum of $9,000.00 from the General Fund to the Jail
Operating Fund.

NO. 13988 APPORTIONMENT OF $22,000.00 FROM F. M. & LATERAL ROAD FUND
On this the 14th day of April 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and County
Treasurer be authorized to apportion the sum of $22,000.00 from the F. M. & Lateral Road Fund
to the four Road and Bridge Precincts, as follows:
