be authorized to transfer the sum of $5,000.00 from the General Fund to the Jail Operating
Fund.

NO. 14016 APPORTIONMENT OF $22,000.00 FROM F. M. & LATERAL ROAD FUND
On this the 12th day of May 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and County
Treasurer be authorized to apportion the sum of $22,000.00 from the F. M. & Lateral Road
Fund to the four Road and Bridge Precincts, as follows:

Road	&	Bridge	Precinct	No.	2 ---	--- $5,000.00

of Kerr County, Texas, from pages 554 thru 558, Volume O.

NO. 14019 APPROVAL OF COUNTY TREASURER'S REPORT FOR QUARTER ENDING MARCH 31, 1980
On this the 12th day of May 1980, in Regular Session of Commissioners' Court, came on
for examination the Quarterly Report of Dorothy Smith, County Treasurer of Kerr County, Texas,
for the period beginning January 1st, 1980 and ending March 31, 1980, and the same having been
examined and compared by the Court and found correct.
And it appearing to the Court that during the said time the Treasurer has received for
account and credit and paid out of each of said funds as reflected in the report and become
a part hereof; and that said accounts received and paid out of the respective funds, since the
filing of the preceding report and during the period above stated, are found correct as there-
in shown.
It is therefore ordered by the Court that said detailed report be, and the same is here-
by approved; the Clerk of the Court is hereby ordered to file same in the record accounts of
said Treasurer in accordance with this order.
Motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Garrett and unanimously
approved by the Court.

AS DEPUTY SHERIFF TO SERVE AS DEPUTY JAILER OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 12th day of May 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded by
Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the application of Paul Fields, Sheriff, for
authority to appoint and deputize Robert L. Brown, Deputy Sheriff, to serve as Deputy Jailer,
at a salary of $11,100.00 per annum, effective May 15th, 1980, payable out of Jail Operating
