NO. 14040 APPROVAL OF BIDS FOR AIRPORT FENCING
On this the 9th day of June 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved the Bids of Mr. Joe Oestreich of Joe's
Fencing Company of Fredericksburg, Texas and Mr. Irvin Henderson of Henderson Fence Company
of Hunt, Texas, for Airport Security Fencing, as previously approved by the City of Kerrville,
on May 27th, 1980, as follows:

On this the 9th day of June 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded
by Commissioner Speakmon, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the County Judge be
authorized to advertise for bids for one new Tractor-Loader for use by the Commissioner of
Kerr County Precinct No. One.
Specifications are on file at the office of the County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas.
Bids to be received until 10:00 o'clock A. M., July 14th, 1980, at which time all bids
will be publicly opened and read.
Kerr County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

On this the 9th day of June 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the County Judge be
authorized to advertise for bids for one 1980 3/4 ton Crew Cab, Two Seat Pickup, for use by
the Kerr County Sheriff's Department.
Specifications are on file at the office of the County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas.
Bids to be received until 10:00 o'clock A. M., July 14th, 1980, at which time all bids
will be publicly opened and read.

NO. 14043 ORDER AUTHORIZING COUNTY TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR TO DRAFT AND SUBMIT PROPOSED
CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT WITH KERR COUNTY TAX APPRAISAL DISTRICT TOGETHER WITH
SUPPORTING PROPOSED BUDGET FOR 1981
On this the 9th day of June, 1980, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of causing to be drafted a proposed contractual agreement between Kerr County and
the Kerr County Tax Appraisal District for property appraisal services under the Texas
Property Tax Code together with a proposed supporting budget for 1981; and it appearing to
the Court that it would be in the best interests of the taxpaying citizens of Kerr County to

submit such a proposed contract and budget, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Guthrie,
seconded by Commissioner Lich, and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County Tax
Assessor-Collector Doris Lee Smith be authorized, acting in consultation with the Commis- °~
sinners' Court, to draft such a proposed contractual agreement and proposed budget and to
submit the same to the Kerr County Tax Appraisal Board for consideration and as a basis for
further negotiations with the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County.

NO. 14044 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF TOWN CREEK RANCH
On this the 9th day of June 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded by
Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Town Creek Ranch, provided
in so doing, Kerr County does not accept as County Roadways the road easements dedicated for
public use, and further, that Kerr County does not assume responsibility for repair, mainten-
ance, construction or reconstruction of roadways so dedicated.

NO. 14045 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF WEST GATE PLACE SECTION THREE
On this the 9th day of June 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded by
Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of West Gate Place Section Three,
consisting of 8.6 acres out of Survey No. 122, P. R. Oliver, Abstract No. 265, in the City
of Kerrville, Texas.

NO. 14046 APPROVAL OF REVISED PLATS OF GUADALUPE RANCH ESTATES SECTION THREE AND SECTION FOUR
On this the 9th day of June 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by
Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved the Revised Plats of Guadalupe Ranch
Estates Section Three and Section Four, subject to the provisions that actual maintenance
of roadways will not be assumed by Kerr County until residential development shall justify
said maintenance and until roads are constructed to specifications of the Commissioner of
Kerr County Precinct No. 4.

NO. 14047 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF VALLE VERDE
On this the 9th day of June 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by
Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Valle Verde, subject to the
provisions that actual maintenance of roadways will not be assumed by Kerr County until
residential development shall justify said maintenance and until roads are constructed to
specifications of the Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. 4.

On this the 9th day of June 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded by
Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that the resignations of Gertrude Lorene
Key, Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector and Margie Baker, Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector, be ratified
and confirmed, effective June 6th, 1980.
