FUND AND CLOSING OF HIGHWAY 16 RIGHT OF WAY FUND ON THE BOOKS OF THE TREASURER
On this the 14th day of July 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and County
Treasurer be authorized to transfer the sum of $8734.55, which is the remaining balance after
payment of bills, out of the Highway 16 Right of Way Fund to Loop 534 Right of Way Fund, and
upon maturity of Certificate of Deposit on July 28, 1980, that the proceeds be transferred to
Loop 534 Right of Play Fund, and that thereafter,
It is further ordered that Highway 16 Right of Way Fund be closed on the books of the
County Treasurer.

by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved the request of Mary Brooks, District
Clerk, for termination of the employment of Mari Ann Yow, as Deputy District Clerk of Kerr
County, Texas, effective as of July 8th, 1980.

NO. 14078 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF MARY BROOKS, DISTRICT CLERK, FOR APPOINTMENT OF JIMMIE
JOE BAILEY AS DEPUTY DISTRICT CLERK OF KERB COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 14th day of July 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved the application of Mary Brooks, District
Clerk, for authority to appoint and deputize Jimmie Joe Bailey as Deputy District Clerk of
Kerr County, Texas, at a salary of $7,080.00 per annum, effective the date of her qualifica-
tion, payable out of Officers Salary Fund.

NO. 14079 ORDER AUTHORIZING TWO WEEK PAYROLL PERIODS FOR PRECINCT ROAD EMPLOYEES AT THE
DISCRETION OF THE PRECINCT COMMISSIONERS
ON this the 14th day of July, 1980, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
matter of authorizing discretionary two week payroll periods for the precinct road employees
of the individual Commissioners' precincts of Kerr County, and it appearing to the Court that
Commissioners' Court Orders #5800 and #7356 entered on November 12, 1952 and on January 13,
1956 which authorized such two week payroll periods for Commissioners' Precincts One and Four,
should be revised to conform with current fiscal procedures of Kerr County and that such pay-
roll periods should be available to each County Commissioner for use at his discretion, it is
