On this the 14th day of July 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded
by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved that the bid of Edens Implement
Company, for a Tractor Loader for use by the Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. One,
in the amount of $13,090.65, which includes a trade-in of one 1959 Ford Tractor Loader, be
accepted as the lowest and best bid.
(Bid price $15,590.65, less $2,500.00 trade-in allowance for 1959 Tractor Loader)

NO. 14086 ACCEPTANCE OF BID OF HILL COUNTRY MOTORS, INC. FOR ONE 1980 3/4 TON CREW CAB,
TWO SEAT PICKUP FOR USE BY THE KERR COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
On this the 14th day of July 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that the bid of Hill Country Motors,
Inc., for one 1980 3/4 ton Crew Cab, two seat pickup, for use by the Sheriff's Department of
Kerr County, Texas, in the amount of $9,343.00 plus $5.00 State Inspection ($9,348.00), be
accepted as the lowest and best bid.

NO. 14087 ORDER NAMING ROADWAY IN KERR COUNTY PRECINCT NO. FOUR
On this the 14th day of July 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that a roadway in Kerr County Precinct
No. 4, which was granted to Kerr County by Coy Reed on December 6th, 1979, recorded in Volume
11, Page 267, Easement Records, be named OMEGA PLACE.

NO. 14088 ACCEPTANCE OF FAA GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF KERRVILLE AND KERR COUNTY
AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (ACTING THROUGH THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRA-
TION FOR DEVELOPMENT OF LOUIS SCHREINER FIELD, KERRVILLE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
On this the 21st day of July 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved acceptance of a FAA Grant Agreement,
between the City of Kerrville and Kerr County and the United States of America (acting
through the Federal Aviation Administration), for a project for the development of the Louis
Schreiner Field, Kerrville Municipal Airport and authorizing the County Judge, Julius R.
Neunhoffer, to execute same on behalf of Kerr County.
(Grant Agreement in the amount of $229,000.00, Project No. 5-48-0121-05, Contract #DOT-FA-
80SW-8117).
