519 NO. 14100 RESIGNATION OF KARLA REESE, DEPUTY TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR OF KERB COUNTY, TEXAS On this the 11th day of August 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of Karla Reese, Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County, Texas, be ratified and confirmed, effective August 1, 1980. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 14101 ORDER OFFERING TO CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF KERRVILLE FOR THE COLLECTION OF CURRENT AND DELINQUENT CITY AD VALOREM TAXES EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 1, 1981 On this the 11th day of August, 1980 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the request of the City of Kerrrville to contract with Kerr County for the collection of current and delinquent ad valorem taxes due the City of Kerrville effective February 1, 1981, and it appearing to the Court that it would be feasible for such tax collections to be made by the Kerr County Tax Collector on the basis of the statutory fee for such purposes, namely 1~ of the amount of taxes collected, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Garrett and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County offer and agree to contract with the City of Kerrville to collect, through the office of the Kerr County Tax Collector, current and delinquent ad valorem taxes due and owing the City of Kerrville at the statutory rate of compensation of 1~ oŁ the amount of taxes collected, the said contract to be effective February 1, 1981, the said rate of compensation to be conditioned upon the provision that the penalty and interest rates for 1981 tax delinquencies is set by the City of Kerrville at the same rates as those applicable to delinquent State and County taxes, it being additionally noted by the Court that from and after the year 1982 penalty and interest rates on tax delinquencies then accruing will be fixed at a uniform rate for all taxing agencies; and it is further noted by the Court that 1981 tax assessments of all agencies con- tracting with the Kerr County Tax Appraisal District shall be a function of the Kerr County Tax Appraisal Office. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 14102 ACCEPTANCE OF BID OF SCHWARTZ CONSTRUCTION FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ACCESS ROAD TO PARKING APRON AT AIRPORT On this the 11th day of August 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved acceptance of the bid of Schwartz Con- struction in the amount of $32,847.75, for construction of access road to parking apron at the Kerrville Municipal Airport, as recommended by blotheral Industries Incorporated, subject to concurrence by the City of Kerrville. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 14103 APPOINTMENT OF ALTERNATE PRESIDING ELECTION JUDGES FOR ELECTION PRECINCT NOS. 6 and 12 On this the 11th day of August 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved the appointment of Fred F.
