Agreement of the City/County Fire Fighting Contract, for a one year extension of the existing
Fire Fighting Contract, beginning on the 1st day of October 1980 and ending on the 30th day

exception of the amount of compensation as stated in Section 2 of the former Contract, subject
to concurrence by the City of Kerrville.

NO. 14135 ACCEPTANCE OF ROADWAYS IN PECAN VALLEY SUBDIVISION IN KERB COUNTY PRECINCT NO. 2
On this the 19th day of September 1980, came on to be considered by the Court the
matter of acceptance of roadways in Pecan Valley Subdivision, which includes Pecan Valley
Subdivision No. 1, Pecan Valley Subdivision No. 2 and a Re-Plat of Pecan Valley Subdivision,
in Kerr County Commissioner's Precinct No. 2.
Upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court
unanimously approved that the clauses stated in Order No. 13448, dated 9/15/1978, recorded
._.. in Volume O, Page 374, Order No. 13858, dated 11/12/1979, recorded in Volume O, Page 517 and
Order No. 13918, dated 1/14/1980, recorded in Volume O, Page 537, of the Commissioners' Court
Minutes, in regard to the Pecan Valley Subdivision, be rescinded, and that Kerr County Precinct
No. 2, does accept the roadways in the Subdivision Plats mentioned above.

NO. 14136 APPROVAL OF REPEAT OF VARIOUS TRACTS OUT OF LOTS 7 & 8 QUAIL RUN ESTATES
On this the 19th day of September 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon,
seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved the REPEAT OF VARIOUS TRACTS
OUT OF LOTS 7 & 8 - QUAIL RUN ESTATES, subject to the provisions that Kerr County does not
accept the roadways at this time, due to the fact that the Contractor guarantees his work for
a period of one year. After the Contractor's one year warranty, and if residential develop-
ment justifies said maintenance, Kerr County will at that time accept the maintenance of the
roadways.

!S. Fish and Wildlife Service cooperating with Texas Agricultural Extension Service - Texas
Animal Damage Control Association, Inc. and Kerr County, be approved and effective September
1, 1980, Kerr County will pay $500.00 per month for Predatory Animal Control, as per revised
agreement, payable to the TEXAS COOPERATIVE TRAPPING FUND.

RESOLUTION
COUNTY OF KERR
WHEREAS, the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas has had brought to its attention
the need for a continuing program to provide sound medical and dental care in the Kerr County
Detention Facility; and
WHEREAS, such a program is available under funding by the Governor's Office, Criminal
Justice Division; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners' Court of I:err County is aware of and feels this program will
aid in the proper safe operation of the Detention Facility;
NOLV THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Commissioners' Court does authorize the continuation ~"~
of this program in the Kerr County Detention Facility, and the submission of this request to L`J
the Governor's Office, Criminal Justice Division. The Commissioners' Court further authorizes
the sum of $1,400.00 as the local share of the proposed funding.
On motion by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon, the foregoing was
passed and unanimously approved by the Court on the 25th day of September, 1980.
