623 On this the 7th day of November 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by;; i Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved the payment of claims of the Election Officials as per claims on file at $3.00 per hour and the Presiding Judges $20.00 for bring- ing in the returns of Election, including the Absentee Box and payment to various places for the use of buildings, heat, lights, etc., in holding the General Election on November 4th, 1980. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 14172 ORDER SETTING TIME OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED REGULATION OF PRIVATE SEV~j,GE FACILITIES IN KERR COUNTY ATQD APPOINTING iiEARING EXAMINER TO CONDUCT PUBL HEARING On this the 7th day of November, 1980 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of setting the time and place of a public hearing to be held before the Commis- sioners' Court under the authority of Section 26.032 of the Texas [9ater Code to consider whether or not the use of private sewage facilities (including spetic tanks) in Kerr County should be regulated to prevent possible pollution or injury to public health, and also the matter of appointing a hearing examiner to conduct the said hearing before the Commissioners' Court; and it appearing to the Court that the public health and welfare of the citizens of Kerr County would be served by the implementation of applicable provisions of the Texas Water Code, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Lich and unanimously approved by the Court that the aforesaid public hearing be held before the Kerr County Commissioners' Court on Tuesday, December 2, 1980 at 10:00 a. m. in the Kerr County Courtroom (Room 112) of the Kerr County Courthouse; and it is further ordered that Col. B. [9. Bruns, a qualified citizen of Kerr County, be and is hereby appointed as Hearing Examiner to conduct the said public hearing before the Kerr County Commissioners' Court; and it is additionally ordered that the County Clerk of Kerr County cause to be published orn time a notice of said public hearing more than 21 days prior to December 2, 1980, with publication to be in the Kerrville Daily Times, a newspaper of general circulation published in Kerr County, Texas. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 14173 RE: BALLOTS DELIVERED FOR USE IN GENERAL ELECTION HELD IN KERR COUNTY, TEXAS ON NOVEMBER 4, 1980 AS PER ARTICLE 6.09, TEXAS ELECTIOIQ LAWS As per Art. 6.09, Texas Election Laws, the County Clerk is required to enter in the minutes of the Commissioners Court, the number of ballots delivered for use in regular voting to the presiding judges on election day and the range of serial numbers on those ballots, and also the number of ballots delivered for use in absentee voting and the range of serial numbers on the ballots. The absentee voting clerk shall handle and account for defectively printed, defaced and mutilated ballots and other unused ballots in the same manner as prescribed by this code for other unused ballots in regular voting on election day.
