June 24, 1980 P4r. Earl Garrett County Commissioner Kerr County Kerrville, Texas 78028 Riverhill Roads Dear Commissioner Garrett: We understand that sometime ago Mr. Raymond Barker, President of the Chas. Schreiner Bank, discussed with you roads in Riverhill Development and the assumption by the County of the maintenance and responsibility for those roads. At that time, there was some difficulty in determining which roads were dedicated, etc. Accordingly, Mr. Deli Voelkel, at our request, has inventoried the plats and replats of the various portions or the Riverhill Development and has located and specified each of the roads in the development as well as their status. Enclosed is a Riverhill brochure, annotated to reflect each of the various roads and their status. Enclosed is a Dedication document dedicating all of those roads to the County, including those that had not been previously dedicated. As I am sure you have noted, a portion of Englewood Drive has been reworked as discussed between Mr. Barker and you. We are therefore requesting at this time that Kerr County accept the Dedication set forth in the enclosed Dedication document and that Kerr County assume the maintenance respon- sibility for these roads in the Riverhill Development as more particularly set forth in the enclosed Dedication document. We would propose that the effective date of this dedication be 60 days after the finalization of the Dedication document and the acceptance by the Kerr County Commissioners of the same. You will note that the assumption of maintenance responsibility with respect to those roads that have not been paved will be at such time as they are paved and improved by Riverhill. Your assistance in this matter is very much appreciated and we look forward to hearing from you concerning your comments concerning this matter and the enclosed. At such time as the Dedication document is approved we will proceed to finalize the same to your satisfaction and the satisfaction of the Kerr County Commissioners.
