ORDER NO. 14134 APPROVAL OF PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT OF THE CITY/COUNTY FIRE FIGHTING AGREEMENT On this the 19th day of September 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved the proposed Amendment to Agreement of the City/County Fire Fighting Contract, for a one year extension of the existing Fire Fighting Con- tract, beginning on the 1st day of October 1980 and ending on the 30th day of September 1981, under the identical terms and conditions of the former Contract, with the exception of the amount of compensation as stated in Section 2 of the former Contract, subject to concurrence by the City of Kerrville. Sincerely, ~ ~~J Louis Odle City Manager Enclosures cc: Dan Glenn, Finance Director Sheila Brand, City Clerk Curtis Meade, Fire Chief ~ 1 ~[ e , AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT CITY/COUNTY FIRE FIGHTING AGREEMENT This Agreement by and between the CITY OF KERRVILLE, Kerr County, Texas, hereinafter called "City", acting pursuant to the Resolution hereto attached, through its Mayor and attested by its City Clerk, and the COUNTY OF KERR, hereinafter called "COUNTY", acting through the Commissioners Court of such County, pursuant to the order of the said Commissioners Court, a copy of which is hereto attached; WITNESSETH: The City and County agree to a one-year extension of the existing Fire Fighting Contract which covered the period of twelve months beginning on the first day of October, 1979, and terminating on the 30th day of September, 1980, for an additional period of twelve months beginning on the first day of October, 1980, and terminating on the 30th day of September, 1987, under the identical terms and conditions of the former Contract, with the exception of the amount of compensation as stated in Section 2 of the former Contract and with the new Section 2 to read as follows: 2. City shall at the end of the calendar month furnish the County with a list of all calls answered by fire fighting equipment to points in Kerr County outside of the corporate limits of the City of Kerrville, Texas. As compensation, County shall pay: A. All Class 1 Fires ....................$528.00 B. All Class 2 Fires ....................$330.00 It is agreed that if the equipment is called back before crossing the city limits, then no compensation shall be payable; once the city limits is crossed, compensation shall be payable.
