RESOLUTION
STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF KERR
WHEREAS, the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas
has had brought to its attention the need for a continuing program to provide
sound medical and dental care in the Kerr County Detention Facility; and
WHEREAS, such a program is available under funding by
the Governor's Office, Criminal Justice Division; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County is
aware of and feels this program will aid in the proper safe operation of
the Detention Facility;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Commissioners'
Court does authorize the continuation of this program. in the Kerr County
Detention Facility, and the submission of this request to the Governor's
Office, Criminal Justice Division. The Commissioners' Court further
authorizes the sum of $1,400.00 as the local share of the proposed funding.
On motion by Commissioner Guthrie seconded by
Commissioner Speakmon the foregoing was passed and unanimously
approved by the Court on the 25th day of September 1980.
