NREREAS, by eainent daaain proceedings dated Pabrnary 4, 1946 as recorded in
volume 2, Page 454, of the Court Minutes of [err County, Texas, a 1.76 acre tract
of land was acquired by Kerr County, Texas, in the mane of and for subsequent naa
of the State of Texas in connection with State fltghway 27; and
Ntfl:REAS, a portion of the aforesaid tract is no longer needed for the nse of
the citizens for highway purposes;
IT IS, ?l~REPORE, REQDESTED by the Cossriseioners' Court of [err County, Texaa
at its regular arecing that the State Aighway and Public Transportation Cos~ission
pass an appropriate Minute Order declaring this 0.769 acre portion, being sore
particularly described in aetes and bounds in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, to be
aurplue right of way and in addition requesting that the Governor of the State of
Texas execute a quitclala deed quitclaLing all right, title and interest in and to
said surplus tract of land to the adjoining omer, Shelton Aanchea, Incorporated.

Be'_ng 0,769 acres of land, more or leas, out of and-a part of 1.76 acre tract
of land, said 0.769 acres, more or less, being out of the C. P. Smith Survey
No. 1102, said 1.76 acre tract of land being the same land described in a
Judgment of the Court in the .County Court of Kerr County, Texas; State of Texas
vs M. D. Henderson, No. 298, dated February 4, 1946, recorded in Volume 2, Page
454, County Court Minutes of Kerr County, Texas, said parcel of land being more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the existing south right of way line of Stale Highway
No, 27, for a proposed northeast corner of this tract, said point being Sovth
20°05'00" West, a distance of 10.00 feet from an existing right of way marker
and being further described as being 60.00 feet right and at right angles from
Engineer's Station 708+30.00 on the ,centerline of said highway;
THENCE, South 20°05'00" Weat with proposed east property line, a distance of
54.00 feet to a proposed southeast corner of this tract; said corner being in
the existing south right of way line of said highway;
THENCE, North 72°43'03" West, with the existing south right of way line, a
distance of 522.10 feet to a point for the proposed southwest corner of this tract;
THENCE, Horth with proposed vest property Line of this tract, a distance of 62.33
feet to a point in the proposed south righC of way line of said highway, for a
northwest corner of this tract, said point being 60.00 feet right and normal to
Engineer's Station 702+78.92 on the centerline of said highway;
THENCE with the arc of a circular curve [o the right, a distance of 343.23 feet
to a point, which curve has a radius of 2804,93 feet and a chord bearing South
73°25'20" East, a distance of 343.02 feet, said point being 60,00 fee[ right of
and at right angles from Engineer's PT Station 706+29.50 on the centerline of
said highway;
THENCE, South 69°55'00" East, a distance of 200.50 feet to the place of BEGINNING
and containing an area of 0,769 acres of land, more or less.
