REQUESTING THE STATE HIGHWAY AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
COMMISSION TO DECIARE CERTAIN UNUSED PORTIONS OF STATE
HIGHWAY 27 RIGHT OF WAY SURPLUS AND TO QUITCLAIM SAID
PROPERTIES TO THE ORIGINAL GRANTORS
WHEREAS, tvo parcels of land were acquired by the County of Kerr to the
name of and subsequently used by the State of Texas in connection with State
Highway 27, said tracts being:

WHEREAS, certain portions of the aforesaid tracts are no longer needed for
the use of citizens for highway purposes;
IT IS, THEREFORE, REQUESTED by the Coaaaisaioners' Court of Kerr County,
Texas, at its regular meeting that the State Highway and Public Transportation
Commission pass an appropriate Minute Order declaring these certain portions,
being more particularly described by metes and bounds in Exhibits "A" and "B"
attached hereto, to be surplus right of way and in addition requesting the
Governor of Che State of Texas to execute quitclaim deeds quitclaiming all right,
title, and interest in and to said surplus tracts of land to the original grantors,
their heirs	or assigns as follows;

of 1a ad, said C.769 acres, more or less, being out of the C. P. Smith Survey
No, 1102, said 1,76 acre tract of land being the same land described in a
Judgment of the Court in the County Court of Kerr County, Texas; Stare of Texas
vs M. D. 1}enderson, No. 298, dated February 4, 1946, recorded in Volur.e 2, Page
474, County Court Minutes of Kerr Cotmty, Texas, said r.arcel of land 'oeing sere
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in [he existing south right of way line of State Highway
No. 27, For a proposed northeast corner of this [race, said pain[ being South
20°0'00" West, a distance of L0.00 feet from an existing right of way marker
and being further described as being 60.00 feet right and a[ right angles from
Engineer's Station 708+30.00 on the centerline of said higkr.+ay;
THENCE, South 20°05'00" West with proposed east property line, a distance of
54.00 feet to a pr°posed southeast corner of this tract; said corner being in
the existing south right of way line of said highway;
T}IENCE, North 72°43'03" West, with the existing south right of way line, a
distance of 522.10 feet to a point for the proposed southwest corner of. this tract;
