(25°Jo of total equals 7, 195. ) Any proposed plan requires submission to the Department of Justice for approval after public hearing has been held and a proposed plan has been adopted by the Commissioners' Court, The calculations here submitted would result in the elimination of present election precinct 13 (Precinct 19 could be renumbered 13) by dividing it between present precincts 16 and 113, Portions of precinct 18 would be added. to precinct 14 (Commissioners' Precinct 3) and the realigned precinct 16 would be added to Commissioners' Precinct 4. The various election precincts would have to be redefined following Justice Department approval of the plan for the Commissioners' Precincts.
