On this the 12th day of January 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved the request of Paul Fields, Sheriff,
for appointment of BRUCE SCIBA, CHIEF DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS, effective February
1st, 1981, and that his salary be fixed at $12,600.00 per annum, effective that date.

N0. 14269 ORDER AMENDING ORDER N0. 13924 FIXING COMPENSATION FOR DISPATCHERS EMPLOYED AT
KERR COUNTY JAIL
On this the 12th day of January, 1981 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of amending Order No. 13924 entered January 23, 1980 fixing the rate of compensa-
tion for jailer-dispatchers employed at the Kerr County Jail; and it appearing that such
amendment is necessitated by the intent of the Court to increase the rate of compensation for
Kerr County employees effective January 1, 1981, and consistent with the request of Sheriff
Paul Fields, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Lich,
and unanimously approved by the Court that effective January 1, 1981 compensation for the
Chief Dispatcher at the Kerr County Jail, when one is so designated by the Sheriff, shall be
fixed at the rate of $740.00 per month; and that the rate of compensation for beginning dis-
patchers be fixed at $690.00 per month and, upon attainment of 90 days experience or sooner at ,'
