On this the 9th day of March 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by
Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved authorization of Notice of Public Hearing
for Proposed Use of General Revenue Sharing Entitlement Funds to be received by Kerr County,
said hearing to be held in the Kerr County Commissioners' Courtroom in the Kerr County Court-
house on April 3rd, 1981 at 9:00 o'clock A. M.

TEXAS FOR THE YEAR 1981 FOR THE PURPOSE OF INCLUDING GENERAL REVENUE SHARING
FUNDS
On this the 9th day of March 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded

by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved authorization of Notice of Public
Hearing on Proposed Amendments to the Budget of Kerr County, Texas for the Year 1981, for
the Purpose of Including General Revenue Sharing Funds. The Commissioners' Court of Kerr
County, Texas, will conduct a public hearing in the Commissioners' Courtroom of the Kerr
County Courthouse on April 14, 1981 at 9:00 o'clock A. M. on a proposed amendment to the
operating budget of Kerr County for the calendar and fiscal year 1981, so as to include I
General Revenue Sharing Funds that had not been granted by law at the time of the adoption

of Kerr County's original operating budget for the year 1981 and also certain unappropriated
i
entitlement funds from prior fiscal years.
_ A copy of the proposed budget amendment which includes proposed uses of General Revenue i
Sharing Funds and pertinent budgetary summaries is available for inspection in the office of i
the Kerr County Clerk at the County Courthouse during normal business hours. '

COUNTY TAX APPRAISAL DISTRICT
On this the 9th day of March 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved a reduction in the salary of the Assist- ',
ant Chief Appraiser, Thomas P. Wright, of the Kerr County Tax Appraisal District, as recommends
ed by Doris Lee Smith, Chief Appraiser.
It is ordered that effective March 1, 1981 that said salary be reduced from $22,500.00
per annum to $17,500.00 per annum. ',

N0. 14302 ORDER ESTABLISHING PROCEDURE FOR MONTHLY PAYMENTS TO CYNRO, INC. FOR AMBULANCE
SERVICES
On this the 9th day of P4arch, 1981, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the

matter of establishing procedures for Kerr County's monthly payments to Cynro, Inc., pursuant
to the Corporation's contract with the City of Kerrville and Kerr County for ambulance service
which contract became effective on March 2, 1981; and after due consideration by the Court
and after consultation with the County Auditor and the County Treasurer, it is ordered on
motion by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, and unanimously approved
by the Court that Kerr County's monthly payment to Cynro, Inc., namely one half of $4,600,00,
be made by a voucher drawn on the General Fund of Kerr County on the last business day of
March, 1981 and on the last business day of each subsequent calendar month for delivery on the
first day of each next succeeding calendar month in accordance with the terms of the contract,
provided, however, that the voucher drawn on March 31, 1981 shall be reduced by 1/30th of the
regular amount due to payments previously made to the prior contractor for services rendered
on March 1, 1981.

On this the 9th day of March 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, with Commissioners Holland, Lich and Guthrie and County Judge Neunhoffer
voting "AYE" and Commissioner Speakmon voting "NO", said motion carrying by a majority vote,
that the Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. Four, Billy Joe Guthrie, Jr., be authorized
to negotiate to purchase a used dump truck, as an emergency replacement of a damaged 1977
Ford Dump Truck, subject to final approval by the County Auditor, Don Williamson and the
Commissioners' Court.
