Commissioner Precinct No. 4 and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had: - N0. 14379 ORDER CALLING PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING PROPOSALS FOR REALIGNMENT OF KERB COUNTY COMMISSIONERS' PRECINCTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH 1980 CENSUS DATA On this the 17th day of June, 1981, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the „-matter of calling a public hearing relative to proposals for the realignment of boundaries c~~ _ „ of the four Kerr County Commissioners' Precincts for the purpose of equalizing precinct population on the basis of 1980 census data and in a manner which is in the best interest of the public and of the areas of minority population concentration; and it appearing to the Court that the existing imbalance in the population of the four Commissioners' precincts should be corrected without delay, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court that a public hearing be held regarding proposals for the realignment of precinct boundaries in accordance with legal is requirements be held in the Kerr County Courtroom on the first floor of the Kerr County Courtw house on June 29, 1981, at 1:30 P. M., at which time members of the public and parties of interest, including minorities, are invited to participate and be heard; and it is further ~, ordered that all local news media be informed as to the time, place and purpose of this hear-' ing o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 14380 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS On this the 17th day of June 1981, came on to be examined by the Court, the various claims and accounts against Kerr County, and the respective Commissioners' Precincts, since the last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Auditor and Treasurer, in amounts and out of Road & Bridge No. 1, General, Officers Salary, Jury, Jail Operating, Public Library & Tax Appraisal Office Funds, as shown in the Disbursements' Journal in the County Auditor's Office, which are made a part hereof and of this order. Motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Lich and unanimously approved. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 14381 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF COMANCHE HILLS On this the 17th day of June 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved the PLAT OF COMANCHE HILLS, (formerly Turtle Creek Hills in Vol. 4, page 158), provided in so doing, that Kerr County does not accept maintenance of roadways until residential development shall justify said maintenance and until roads are constructed according to specifications of the Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. One. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 14382 APPROVAL OF LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN PECAN VALLEY RANCH, INC. AND KERB COUNTY On this the 17th day of June 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded i by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved the Lease Agreement between Pecan ~; l Valley Ranch, Inc. and Kerr County and that County Judge, Julius R. Neunhoffer, be authorized; to execute said agreement on behalf of Kerr County, Texas.
