to the Veterans' Land Board to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of C. D. Peterson.

On this the 10th day of August 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved the PLAT OF RIVERHILL TOWNHOUSE
TRACTS N0. SEVEN, subject to the provisions that actual maintenance of roadways will not be
assumed by Kerr County until residential development shall justify said maintenance and until
roads are constructed and paved according to specifications of the Commissioner of Kerr
County Precinct No. One.

by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the administrative transfer of the Chief
Jailer, Robert L. Brown, to regular Deputy Sheriff status, effective August 1st, 1981 and
that his salary be paid out of the Officers Salary Fund.

N0. 14423 APPROVAL OF APPOINTMENT OF E. L. MICHELSON AS CHIEF JAILER EFFECTIVE AUGUST 1st,
1981
On this the 10th day of August 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved the appointment of E. L. Michelson
as Chief Jailer, effective as of August 1st, 1981 and that his salary be set at $10,800.00
per annum, effective that date.
