claims and accounts against Kerr County, and the respective Commissioners' Precincts, since
the last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Auditor
and Treasurer, in amounts and out of Road & Bridge No. 1, 2, 3 and 4, General Road & Bridge,
General, Officers Salary, Jail Operating, Jury, 216th District Probation, County Law Library,
Tax Appraisal Office, and Revenue Sharing Trust Funds, as shown in the Disbursements' Journal
_ in the County Auditor's Office, which are made a part hereof and of this order.

On this the 14th day of September 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland,
seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved authorization of Notice of
Public Hearing for Proposed Use of General Revenue Sharing Funds to be received by Kerr County,
said hearing to be held in the Kerr County Courtroom in the Kerr County Courthouse on
September 28th, 1981 at 2:00 o'clock P. P4.

On this the 14th day of_ September 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, sec
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved acceptance of the 1980 Audit by Pressler,
Thompson and Comoany,of Kerr County Records, in the amount of $17,795.15.
It is ordered by the Court that the Auditor and Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher
on the General Fund, payable to Pressler, Thompson and Company in the above amount.

THOMPSON & COMPANY be employed to audit the 1981 records of the County and Precinct Officials ; _.

by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that a public hearing on the 1982 Budget
for Kerr County, Texas, be set at 9:00 o'clock A. M., Wednesday, October 7th, 1981 and that
the County Judge be hereby directed to issue notice by publication, with notice thereof to be

published in the official newspaper of Kerr County, one time, that the Commissioners' Court
of Kerr County will submit for consideration of the public, a Budget for the Control of the
County Financial Affairs, for the calendar and fiscal year 1982, including General Revenue
Sharing Funds, the same to be at a public hearing to be held October 7th, 1981 at 9:00 o'clock j

NO. 14445 ORDER CONSOLIDATING CERTAIN KERR COUNTY ELECTION PRECINCTS FOR SPECIAL
4;~ CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT ELECTION NOVEMBER 3, 1981
it On this the 14th day of September, 1981, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
'the matter of consolidating certain election precincts of Kerr County for the purpose of
,conducting a Special Constitutional Amendment election ordered by the State of Texas to be
Phe1d on November 3, 1981; and it appearing to the Court that Section 2.02(g) of the Texas
(Election Code authorizes the combination of any two or more Kerr County election precincts
;'into consolidation precincts for the purpose of conducting the aforesaid election; and it
1~'further appearing to the Court that certain polling places heretofore used by Kerr County are
i
no longer available for use by Kerr County and that it has not been possible to find new
!,locations in certain election precincts; and further that the costs of conducting this election.,
(would be materially reduced by certain consolidations, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner
LHolland, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon, and unanimously approved by the Court that for the
i
'purpose of conducting the aforesaid Special Election called for November 3, 1981, the following
'consolidations of certain of Kerr County's regular election precincts shall be as follows:
~r 1. Election orecincts 1 and 12 are consolidated into a single precinct with the Kerr
County Courthouse being designated as the polling place;
2. Election precincts 2 and 8 are consolidated into a single precinct with the Center
