On this the 14th day of September, 1981, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of consolidating certain election precincts of Kerr County for the purpose of conducting a Special Constitutional Amendment election ordered by the State of Texas to be held on November 3, 1981; and it appearing to the Court that Section 2.02(g) of the Texas Election Code authorizes the combination of any two or more Kerr County election precincts into consolidation precincts for the purpose of conducting the aforesaid election; and it further appearing to the Court that certain polling places heretofore used by Kerr County are no longer available for use by Kerr County and that it has not been possible to find new locations in certain election precincts; and further that the costs of conducting this election would be materially reduced by certain consolidations, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon, and unanimously approved by the Court that for the purpose of conducting the aforesaid Special Election called for November 3, 1981, the following consolidations of certain of Kerr County's regular election precincts shall be as follows: 1. Election precincts 1 and 12 are consolidated into a single precinct with the Kerr County Courthouse being designated as the polling place; 2.
