Jail Operating Fund. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 14459 MINUTES READ AND APPROVED On this the 14th day of September 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved the Minutes of Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, from pages 65 thru 74, Volume P. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 14460 APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO THE CITY/COUNTY FIRE FIGHTING CONTRACT On this the 14th day of September 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded by Commissioner Lich, with Commissioners Holland, Speakmon and Lich and County Judge Neunhoffer voting "AYE" and Commissioner Guthrie voting "NO", said motion carrying by a majority vote, an Amendment to the City/County Fire Fighting Contract was approved, beginn- ing the first day of October 1981 and terminating on the 30th day of September 1982. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 14461 ORDER APPROVING LOCAL INTER-GOVERNMENTAL CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF KERP.VILLE FOR LANDFILL DEVELOPMENT TOGETHER WITH PP.OPOSED BUDGET FOR FIRST YEAR DEVELOPMENT ..J On this the 14th day of September, 1981 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of approval of the previously negotiated Local Inter-Governmental Contract with the City of Kerrville for Landfill Development; and it appearing to the Court that the said contract will serve the mutual public interests of all citizens of Kerr County, it is order- ed on motion by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Lich and unanimously approved by the Court that the final draft of said contract as heretofore executed by the Mayor of the City of Kerrville on September 8, 1981 be approved and that the County Judge be authoriz- ed to execute the same on behalf of Kerr County; and it is further ordered that the attached budget for the period October 1, 1981 through September 30, 1982 also be approved for implementation. (Contract on file - but not recorded) o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 14462 ORDER CREATING KERRVILLE-KERB COUNTY LANDFILL DEVELOPMENT COPR4ITTEE On this the 14th day of September, 1981 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of joining with the City of Kerrville in the creation of a permanent Kerrville- Kerr County Landfill Development Committee to serve as a general operational oversight body in the function where, by contractual agreements, the City and the County have established mutual responsibilities and obligations; and it appearing to the Court that such a Committee would serve to improve administration procedures and functions incident to the said contractu- al agreement, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County join with the City of Kerr- ville in the immediate creation and establishment of the Kerrville-Kerr County Landfill Development Committee, which Committee shall be composed of the following: A. Two members of the County Commissioners' Court; B. Two members of the Kerrville City Council; C. Ex-Officio members being the City Manager and the Public Works Director of the City of Kerrville D. Additional resource persons to be pulled in as needed by the Committee.
