as Assistant Chief Jailer, be fixed at $9,900.00 per annum, retroactive to August 1st, 1981.

N0. 14464 ORDER PROPOSING TAX RATE INCREASES AND SETTING TIME AND PLACE OF PUBLIC HEARING
THEREON
On this the 16th day of September, 1981 came on to be heard and considered by the Court '
the necessity of increasing the 1981 tax rates of Kerr County for both county ad valorem
purposes and for FM and lateral road purposes, which proposed increases would be more than
3% of the effective tax rate as calculated by the Kerr County Tax Assessor-Collector,
pursuant to Article 7244c, Sec. 1, VTCS; and it appearing to the Court that such increases
are necessary to meet the essential fiscal requirements for the efficient operation of the
Kerr County government for the calendar and fiscal year 1982, it is ordered on motion by
Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Lich that the Commissioners' Court of Kerr
County propose to increase the 1981 tax levy of Kerr County by 40.95% above the calculated
effective tax rate for county ad valorem purposes, which increase would provide $442,080.00
of budgetable revenue for general operational purposes; and that the Commissioners' Court of
Kerr County propose to increase the 1981 tax levy by 147% above the effective tax rate for
FM and lateral road purposes, which increase would provide $268,725.00 of budgetable revenue
for county road construction and maintenance; and it is further ordered that pursuant to the
provisions of Article 7244c, Sec. 3, VTCS, a public hearing on the two proposed increases be
held on September 29, 1981 at 5:05 p. m. in the County Courtroom in the Kerr County Courthouse%
and that proper notice of such hearing be published as required by law.

N0. 14466 APPROVAL OF EXTENSION OF TOWER SITE SPACE LEASE AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN HILL
COUNTRY CABLEVISION, INC. LESSOR AND CITY OF KERRVILLE AND COUNTY OF KERR,
LESSEE
On this the 16th day of September 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland,
seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved an Extension of Lease Tower
Site Space Lease Agreement, by and between Hill Country Cablevision, Inc., Lessor and City
of Kerrville and County of Kerr, Lessee, for an additional three year term, beginning on Mar
1, 1981 and terminating on February 29, 1984, with rental payments in the amount of seventy-
two dollars per month.

N0. 14467 APPROVAL OF SUB-LEASE AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN DUGOSH AIRCRAFT SERVICE CO., INC.,
SUB-LESSOR AND THE CITY OF KERRVILLE AND KERR COUNTY, TEXAS, SUB-LESSEE AND A
LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF KERRVILLE AND COUNTY OF KERR, LESSOR AND U.S.
GOVERNMENT, LESSEE
On this the 16th day of September 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland,
seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved a Sub-lease Agreement by and
between Dugosh Aircraft Service Co., Inc., Sub-Lessor and the City of Kerrville and Kerr
County, Texas, Sub-Lessee, and a Lease Agreement between the City of Kerrville and County of
Kerr, Lessor and the U. S. Government, Lessee, leased premises described as follows:
A space 8 ft. by 8 ft. in the southwest corner of the Dugosh "T" hangar
located on Kerrville Municipal Airport; and a land area 3 ft. by 3 ft. for
an antenna pole.

On this the 16th day of September 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon,
seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved acceptance of proposal to
purchase one rebuilt copy machine - Savin Model 770 from Copy Distributing Company and
authorized payment for said machine in the amount of $2495.00, out of the General Fund, as
per recommendation by County Auditor, Don Williamson.

AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
CITY/COUNTY FIRE FIGHTING AGREEMENT
This Agreement by and between the CITY OF KERRVILLE, Kerr County, Texas, hereinafter
called "City," acting pursuant to the Resolution hereto attached, through its Mayor and attes
ed by its City Clerk, and the COUNTY OF KERR, hereinafter called "County," acting through the
Commissioners Court of such County, pursuant to the order of the said Commissioners Court, a
copy of which is hereto attached:
WITNESSETH:
The City and County agree to a second one-year extension of the existing Fire Fighting
Contract which covered the period of twelve months beginning on the first day of October,
1979, and terminating on the 30th day of September, 1980, for an additional period of twelve
months beginning on the first day of October, 1981, and terminating on the 30th day of
