and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
N0. 14470 APPROVAL OF REQUEST OF DORIS LEE SMITH, TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR, FOR $7,500.00
FOR POSTAGE TO MAIL 1981 TAX STATEMENTS
On this the 2nd day of October 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved the claim of Doris Lee Smith, Tax
Assessor-Collector, for postage, in the amount of $7,500.00, to mail the 1981 tax statements.
It is ordered by the Court that the Auditor and Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher
on the Officers Salary Fund, payable to the Postmaster, Kerrville, Texas, for the above amount

at which time a public hearing on the 1982 Budget for Kerr County, Texas, for the calendar
and fiscal year 1982, including General Revenue Sharing Funds, was held.
Approximately nine members of the public were present at the public hearing.
Public hearing adjourned October 7th, 1981 at 9:25 A. M.

COMMISSIONERS COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION at 9:30 o'clock A. M., at the
conclusion of the Budget Hearing, with all members of the Court present.
A motion was made by Commissioner Lich and seconded by County Judge Neunhoffer for the
Adoption of the Proposed Operating Budget of Kerr County, Texas, for the calendar and fiscal
year 1982.
Following discussion, the Court recessed until 10:15 A. M., at which time Commissioner
Lich and County Judge Neunhoffer withdrew their motion and second.
ORDER N0. 14471 ADOPTION OF PROPOSED OPERATING BUDGET OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS, FOR THE YEAR
1982, AS REVISED
it On motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court ',
~', unanimously approved the Adoption of the 1982 Budget as proposed, subject to providing for
I' the transfer of an additional $100,000.00 from the F. M. & Lateral Road Fund to the Precinct
Road and Bridge Funds and the inclusion of this amount in the budgeted expenditures of the
~ Precincts during the year.
