FOR DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS THEREFROM
- On this the 12ti1 day of October, 1981, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of the establishment on the books of the Treasurer a Special Custodial Fund for
the purpose of receiving and disbursing certain monetary restitution payments to be made to
Kerr County pursuant to orders entered in Cause No. 556 in the 198th District Court of Kerr
County and pursuant to recommendation made by the County Auditor, it is ordered on motion by
Commissioner Speakmon, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie and unanimously approved by the Court
that the County Treasurer be authorized and directed to establish on her books and as a
separate account in the
Custodial
/Account"; and that upon
aforesaid orders of the

Kerr County Depository a fund to be designated as "Kerr County Special
receipt by the Treasurer of restitution payments made pursuant to the
198th District Court, such payments shall be deposited in the afore-
rther ordered by the Court that the Treasurer be authorized to make
disbursements of such funds to those officials, other entities lawfully entitled to receive
same in such order of disbursement and amounts of disbursements as may be recommended by the

N0. 14476 ORDER DESIGNATING THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF KERR COUNTY AS EX-OFFICIO
ROAD COMMISSIONERS PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 6762 REVISED CIVIL STATUTES AS APPENDED
EFFECTIVE 1981
On this the 12th day of October, 1981 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of complying with the provisions of Article 6762, Revised Civil Statutes, as
amended by Senate Bill 1242, Acts of the 67th Legislature effective 1981; and it appearing
to the Court that Article 6762 as amended by the said Senate Bill 1242 now applies to Kerr
County, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Holland and
unanimously approved by the Court that each of the four County Commissioners of Kerr County
be designated as Ex-Officio Road Commissioner for his precinct, and that each commissioner
shall forthwith execute a corporate surety bond in the amount of $3,000.00 to be approved by
the County Judge, payable to the County Judge, for the use and benefit of the Road and Bridge
Fund of Kerr County.

N0. 14477 ORDER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR ONE NEW FOUR WHEEL DRIVE ARTICULATED LOADER,
FOR USE BY THE COMMISSIONER OF KEP.R COUNTY PRECINCT N0. 3
On this the 12th day of October 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the County Judge be
authorized to advertise for bids for one new Four Wheel Drive Articulated Loader, for use by
the Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. 3.
Bid price shall include delivery FOB job site in Commissioner's Precinct No .. 3 of Kerr
County, Texas.
Bids to be received until 10:00 o'clock A. M., November 9th, 1981, at which time all
bids will be publicly opened and read.
Bids must be for equipment which complies with specifications on file in the office of
the County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas.
Bid price to include trade-in of one Ford 1841 Industrial Tractor with 5/8 cu. yd. bucket
loader.
Alternate bids without trade-in will be considered.
Kerr County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

Publication of this notice and aazarding bids shall be in compliance with and subject
to the terms of Article 2632, Texas Civil Statutes.

N0. 14478 ORDER CONFIRPIING PRIOR ACCEPTANCE OF BRIDGE ON THE EHLERS CROSSING OF THE
GUADALUPE RIVER IN PRECINCT 3 AS A PORTION OF THE COUNTY ROAD SYSTEM OF
KERR COUNTY
On this the 12th day of October, 1981, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of confirming the prior acceptance of a bridge across the Guadalupe River known as
the Ehlers Crossing in Precinct 3 as a portion of the County road system of Kerr County; and
it appearing to the Court that the said bridge was originally constructed across the Guadalu
River by private individuals prior to the relocation of State Highway 27 to its present route
paralleling the former Southern Pacific Railroad right of way; and it appearing to the Court
that as a result of said highway relocation some 50 years ago Kerr County was required to
construct and maintain a public roadway running south from State Highway 27 as relocated so
as to connect the said Ehlers Crossing to a public roadway, and that as a result of such
action the maintenance of the said Ehlers Crossing bridge was assumed by Kerr County so as
to provide public access from the south bank of the Guadalupe River to and from State Highway
27, which maintanance was assumed by Commissioner Adolph W. Bartel, Commissioner of Precinct
3, on behalf of Kerr County in the year 1970, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Lich,
seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court that the prior accept-;
ance of the said Ehlers Crossing Bridge as a portion of the public road system of Kerr County;
be ratified and confirmed for all purposes; and that the private individuals who originally
constructed the said bridge and their successors in title to the abutting lands on the south
bank of the Guadalupe River be absolved of any responsibility for the maintenance of the said;
bridge or from responsibility to the members of the public utilizing the said bridge for any
purpose.

On this the 12th day of October 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded!,
by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved acceptance of a proposal of Cooper ~!
Equipment Company to deliver one neon Grant 10' Tailgate Spreader for use in Commissioner's
Precinct No. 4, in the amount of $2,150.00.
Upon final acceptance of delivery by the Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. 4,
the County Auditor and County Treasurer are authorized to draw a voucher on the Revenue ~'
Sharing Trust Fund in the amount of $2,150.00, payable to Cooper Equipment Company for the
spreader.
