Notices to be published in the official Newspaper of Kerr County, Texas, October 14th and October 21st, 1981. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 14478 ORDER CONFIRS4ING PRIOR ACCEPTANCE OF BRIDGE ON THE EHLERS CROSSING OF THE GUADALUPE RIVER IN PRECINCT 3 AS A PORTION OF THE COUNTY ROAD SYSTEM OF KERR COUNTY On this the 12th day of October, 1981, came on to be heard and considered by the Court I the matter of confirming the prior acceptance of a bridge across the Guadalupe River known as ', the Ehlers Crossing in Precinct 3 as a portion of the County road system of Kerr County; and ~, i it appearing to the Court that the said bridge was originally constructed across the Guadalup$ River by private individuals prior to the relocation of State Highway 27 to its present route: paralleling the former Southern Pacific Railroad right of way; and it appearing to the Court that as a result of said highway relocation some 50 years ago Kerr County was required to I construct and maintain a public roadway running south from State Highway 27 as relocated so 'J as to connect the said Ehlers Crossing to a public roadway, and that as a result of such action the maintenance of the said Ehlers Crossing bridge was assumed by Kerr County so as to provide public access from the south bank of the Guadalupe River to and from State Highway's 27, which maintanance was assumed by Commissioner Adolph W. Bartel, Commissioner of Precinct 3, on behalf of Kerr County in the year 1970, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court that the prior accent-+ ante of the said Ehlers Crossing Bridge as a portion of the public road system of Kerr County be ratified and confirmed for all ur oses• and that the „(~j,~ p p private individuals who originally aG~^"' constructed the said bridge and their successors in title to the abutting lands on the south bank of the Guadalupe River be absolved of any responsibility for the maintenance of the said bridge or from responsibility to the members of the public utilizing the said bridge for any 'I purpose. i o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o 1 I N0. 14479 ACCEPTANCE OF PROPOSAL OF COOPER EQUIPPIENT COMPANY TO DELIVER ONE NEW GRANT 10' TAILGATE SPREADER FOR USE IN COMMISSIONER'S PRECINCT N0. 4 AND AUTHORIZATION FOR PAYMENT On this the 12th day of October 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded; by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved acceptance of a proposal of Cooper Equipment Company to deliver one neon Grant 10' Tailgate Spreader for use in Commissioner's ' i Precinct No. 4, in the amount of $2,150.00. Upon final acceptance of delivery by the Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. 4, the County Auditor and County Treasurer are authorized to draw a voucher on the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund in the spreader.
