M. & Lateral Road Fund .0625 Total County Tax Rate .2690 Divide Common School District ~p12 Local Maintenance Fund Occupation Tax 50% of State Levy. 2225 Motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded by Commissioner Holland and unanimously approved by the Court. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 14490 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF RIO RETIRO On this the 13th day of October 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the PLAT OF RIO RETIRO, provided in so doing, Kerr County does not accept as County Roadways, now, or at any time in the future, the road easements dedicated for public use, and further, that Kerr County does not assume responsibility for repair, construction or reconstruction, or maintenance of roadways so dedicated. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 14491 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF PAUL FIELDS, SHERIFF, FOR APPOINTMENT OF LEO C. MARTINEZ, AS DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS On this the 13th day of October 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved the request of Paul Fields, Sheriff, for appointment of LEO C. MARTINEZ, as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas and that his compensation be fixed at $11,700.00 per annum, effective the date of his qualification, payable out of Officers Salary Fund. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 14492 APPORTIONMENT OF LATERAL ROAD MONEY On this the 13th day of October 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved that the sum of $81,453.84 received by the County Treasurer of Kerr County, Texas, from the Treasurer of the State of Texas, be apportioned and transferred from the Kerr County Lateral Road Fund, by the County Clerk and 93 the County Treasurer, into the Precinct Lateral Road Funds, as follows: Lateral Road Precinct No. 1 --- - $22,212.46 Lateral Road Precinct No. 2 --- - $18,514.46 Lateral Road Precinct No. 3 --- - $18,514.46 Lateral Road Precinct No. 4 -- -- $22,212.46 o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 14493 APPROVAL OF ORDER TO ESTABLISH THE FOUR PRECINCT LATERAL ROAD FUNDS ON THE BOOKS OF THE TREASURER On this the 13th day of October 1981, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, second- ed by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved an order to establish the four Precinct Lateral Road Funds, namely - Lateral Road No. 1, Lateral Road No. 2, Lateral Road No.!~~ 3 and Lateral Road No. 4 Funds, on the books of the County Treasurer. i'. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o it COURT RECESSED October 13th, 1981 at 5:20 P. M., with all members present and the following proceedings were had: N0. 14494 ORDER NOMINATING CANDIDATE FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF KERR COUNTY TAX APPRAISAL DISTRICT On this the 14th day of October 1981, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of nominations to be made for the Board of Directors of the Kerr County Tax Apprais- al District as created pursuant to the provisions of Senate Bill 621, 56th Legislature, Regular Session; and it appearing to the court that Kerr County has heretofore exercised its option to join the said Tax Appraisal District and is therefore entitled to make mominations for the Directors of the District who are to be elected pursuant to applicable provisions of said Senate Bill No. 621, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commis- sinner Lich, and unanimously approved by the Court that Adolph Bartel, a qualified citizen of Kerr County, whose mail address is Route One, Box 136, Comfort, Texas, 78013, be nominated and designated by Kerr County as a candidate to be placed on the ballot for the election of the Board of Directors of the said Tax Appraisal District. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 14495 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS On this the 14th day of October 1981, came on to be examined by the Court, the various claims and accounts against Kerr County, and the respective Commissioners' Precincts since the 12th day of October 1981, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Auditor and Treasurer, in amounts and out of Road & Bridge No. 3, Road & Bridge No. 4, General, Jail Operating and Officers Salary Funds.
