ORDER CONSOLIDATING CERTAIN KERB COUNTY
ELECTION PRECINCTS AND DESIGNATING POLLING
PLACES FOR SPECIAL ELECTION TO LEGALIZE
BINGO GAMES FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN
KERR COUNTY
On this the 14th day of December, 1981, came on to
heard and considered by the Court the matter of consolidating
certain Kerr County Election Precincts for the purpose of
conducting a Special Local Option Election for the purpose
of legalizing Bingo Games for charitable purposes in Kerr
County and it appearing to the Court that the said Special
Election has been called by the Court to be held on the 16th
day of January, 1982 and that the costs of conducting the
said election can be reduced and that the convenience of the
people can be served. by the consolidation of certain of the
election precincts of Kerr County pursuant to the provisions
of Section 2.02 (g) Texas Election Code, it is ordered on
motion by Commissioner Holland ,seconded by Commissioner
Lich and unanimously approved by the Court that for
the purpose of conducting the aforesaid Special Local Option
Bingo Election on January 16, 1982, there shall be a designation
of the following polling places and a consolidation of election
precincts as follows:
1. Election precints 1, 12, 14 and 17 are consolidated
into a single precinct with the Kerr County Court House to be
the polling place and the Presiding Judge of Election Precinct
No. 1 is designated as the Presiding Judge for the aforesaid
Consolidated Election Precinct.
2. Election precincts 2, 3 and 8 are consolidated
into a single precinct with the Center Point American Legion
Hall to be the polling place and the presiding Judge of
Election precinct No. 2 is designated as the Presiding Judge
far the aforesaid Consolidated Election Precinct.
3. Election Precincts 4, 5, 6, 9 and 10 are consolidated
into a single Election precinct with the Ingram Elementary
School to be the polling place and the Presiding Judge of
Election Precinct No. 6 is designated as the Presiding
Judge for the aforesaid Consolidated Election Precinct.
4. The election shall be conduci:e~d in Election precinct
No. 7 at the Turtle Creek School House by the Presiding Judge
of Election Precinct No. 7.
5. Election Precincts 11 and 15 are consolida tedinto
a single precinct with the Tom Daniels Elementary School be-
ing designated as the polling place and the Presiding Judge
oŁ Election Precinct No. 15 is designated as the Presiding
Judge for the aforesaid Consolidated Election Precinct.
6. Election precincts 13, 16, 18 and 19 are consolidated
with the Starkey Elementary School to be the polling place
and the presiding Judge of Election precinct No. 16 is des-
ignated the Presiding Judge for the aforesaid Election Precinct.
