ORDER CONCURRING WITH THE CITY OF KERRVILLE IN REQUEST
FOR THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION TO ASSUME TITLE
TO AND MAINTENANCE FOR INSTRUMENT LANDING SYSTEM AT
CITY-COUNTY AIRPORT
On this the 10th day of August, 1981 came on to be heard and
considered by the Court the matter of concurring with the City of
Kerrville in a joint request for the Federal Aviation Administration
to assume the title to and the maintenance for the instrument landing
facilities at the City-County airport, which facilities comprise the
present localizer, compass locator and outer marker at the airport;
and it appearing to the Court that this proposal and request as originally
set forth by letter dated July 28, 1981 and addressed to Regional Director
of the Federal Aviation Administration at Fort Worth, Texas by City
Manager J. Louis Odle would be in the public (interest, it is ordered
on motion by Commissioner Holland seconded by
Commissioner Guthrie and unanimously approved by the
Court that Kerr County does hereby join with the Gity of Kerrville
in confirming the aforesaid prior letter request to have the Federal
Aviation Administration assume title and maintenance of the aforesaid
airport facility.
