T4. & Lateral Road Fund to the four Road & Bridge Precincts, as follows: Road & Bridge No. 1 -- -- $9,600.00 Road & Bridge No. 2 -- -- $9,600.00 Road & Bridge No. 3 -- -- $9,600.00 Road & Bridge No. 4 -- -- $11,200.00 o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 14581 SALARIES OF ELECTED COUNTY AND PRECINCT OFFICIALS AND ALLOWANCES ADOPTED FOR THE YEAR 1982 On this the 11th day of January 1982, came on to be considered by the Court the matter of setting salaries and allowances for the year 1982, of elected County and Precinct Officials of Kerr County, Texas, and it appearing that the method of compensation has been duly set by the Court according to law, it is therefore ordered on motion made by Commission- er Holland, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the': annual salaries and allowances he approved, as per schedule on file, effective as of January 1st, 1982. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 14582 ORDER FIXING COMPENSATION OF JAILERS AND DISPATCHERS EMPLOYED BY KERR COUNTY SHERIFF On this the 11th day of January, 1982 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of fixing the compensation to be paid, effective January 1, 1982, to the jailers and dispatchers employed by the Kerr County Sheriff; and it appearing to the Court that the compensation paid such personnel pursuant to certain prior orders of the Court should be adjusted in accordance with certain compensation increases granted other County personnel effective January 1, 1982, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded by Commissioner Holland and unanimously approved by the Court that the compensation to be paid such jailers and dispatchers shall be fixed as follows effective January 1, 1982, payable out x.56 of Jail Operating Fund: 1. ELLIOT L. MICHELSON, Chief Jailer, $12,000.00 per annum 2. CLAY BARYON, Assist. Chief Jailer, 11,000.00 per annum 3. ARTHUR G. HASTINGS, Late Night Dispatcher 10,140.00 per annum 4. Other dispatchers as follows: Beginning dispatchers shall be paid $790.00 per month and upon attainment of 90 days experience, or sooner at the discretion of the Sheriff, they shall be paid S815.00 per month. N0. 14583 ORDER CANVASSING RETURNS AND DECLARING RESULTS OF LOCAL OPTION ELECTION ON THE SUBJECT LEGALIZING BINGO GAP~IES FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS AUTHORIZED BY THE BINGO ENABLING ACT IN KERB COUNTY, TEXAS. On this the 18th day of January, 1982 came on to be considered by the Court the canvass of the returns of a countywide local option election held in Kerr County on the 16th day of January, 1982, which election was held pursuant to the provisions of House Bill No. 3, 67th Legislature, First Called Session, and designated as the Bingo Enabling Act, and pursuant to Order No. 14,541 entered by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County on Decem- ber 14, 1981, which order is of record in Volume P, Page 115 of the Minutes of the Court; and,' I The court now convened in Special Session with all members present having found that such:; countywide local option election on the subject of the legalization of Bingo games for char- itable purposes as authorized by the Bingo Enabling Act has been duly and properly held throughout the entire area of Kerr County, and that said election was conducted in accord witiZ! the provisions of the Bingo Enabling Act and Commissioners' Court Order No. 14,541, together with applicable laws of the State of Texas, and that all returns of said election have been duly made by those persons designated to conduct the same, the Court does hereby declare the results of its official canvass of said returns as follows, to-wit: ' That the total vote cast in Kerr County for legalizing Bingo games for ' charitable purposes as authorized by the Bingo Enabling Act were 890 votes. That the total votes cast in Kerr County against legalizing Bingo games for charitable purposes as authorized by the Bingo Enabling, Act were 231 votes. It is therefore found, ordered and declared that effective this date Bingo games for charitable purposes as authorized by the Bingo Enabling Act shall be lawful throughout Kerr County, Texas, subject to the applicable provisions of the Bingo Enabling Act.
