LESSOR AND EAA SOUTHWEST REGIONAL FLY-IN, INC., LESSEE
On this the 8th day of February 1982, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved an Airport Lease, by and between the ~,
City of Kerrville and Kerr County, Lessor and EAA Southwest Regional Fly-In, Inc., Lessee,
on a tract of land 180 feet by 483.33 feet, for a twenty-year period, beginning November 1, ',
1981 and terminating on October 31, 2001, subject to concurrence by the City of Kerrville.

N0. 14596 ORDER AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF KERR COUNTY'S ONE-HALF OF PURCHASE PRICE FOR 90.5406
ACRES OF LAND FOR IMPROVEMENT OF AIRPORT
On this the 8th day of February, 1982 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of authorizing the payment of Kerr County's one half of the purchase price and
related closing costs resulting from the purchase of 90.5406 acres of land from J. T. William
et al pursuant to an earnest money contract heretofore entered into by the City of Kerrville
and Kerr County, which land is required for airport improvements; and it appearing to the
Court that at the time of closing the transaction for the aforesaid land purchase for an
approximate purchase price of $293,800.00, Kerr County will be required to pay one half there-
of, less $2,500.00 previously paid as oer earnest money contract, namely $144,400,00 plus
one half of the purchasers' final closing costs, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner
Speakmon, seconded by Commissioner Holland and unanimously approved by the Court that upon
~`' final determination of the total amount of Kerr County's one half due at the time of final
a closing on or about February 15, 1982, that vouchers payable to Fidelity Abstract and Title
Company be drawn as follows:
$75,000.00 on the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund and the remaining portion of the
balance due on the General Fund.

N0. 14597 APPROVAL OF INCREASE IN PAY FOR GRAND JURY AND PETIT JURY BAILIFFS IN DISTRICT
A9D COUNTY COURT AND JUSTICE OF THE PEACE COURTS
On this the 8th day of February 1982, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon,
seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved an increase in pay for
Grand Jury and Petit Jury Bailiffs in District and County Court and Justice of the Peace
Courts, from $20.00 per day to $25.00 per day, effective as of February 8th, 1982.

On this the 8th day of February 1982, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Speakmon, with Commissioners Speakmon, Lich and Holland and County Judge,
Julius R. Neunhoffer voting "AYE" and Commissioner Holland "ABSTAINING" from voting, said
motion carrying by a majority vote and approved that the County Clerk and County Treasurer
be authorized to apportion the sum of $40,000.00 from the F. M. & Lateral Road Fund to the
four Road & Bridge Precincts, as follows:

TRANSFER OF $35,000.00 FROM GENERAL FUND TO OFFICERS SALARY FUND
On this the 8th day of February 1982, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich., seconded
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and County
Treasurer be authorized to transfer the sum of $35,000.00 from the General Fund to the
Officers Salary Fund.

N0. 14601 APPROVAL OF COUNTY TREASURER'S REPORT FOR QUARTER ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1981
On this the 8th day of February 1982, in Regular Session of Commissioners' Court, came
on for examination the Quarterly Report of Dorothy Smith, County Treasurer of Kerr County,
Texas, for the period beginning October 1st, 1981 and ending December 31, 1981, and the same
having been examined and compared by the Court and found correct.
And it appearing to the Court that during the said time the Treasurer has received for
account and credit and paid out of each of said funds as reflected in the report and become
a part hereof; and that said accounts received and paid out of the respective funds, since
the filing of the preceding report and during the period above stated, are found correct as
therein shown.
It is therefore ordered by the Court that said detailed report be, and the same is
hereby approved, the Clerk of the Court is hereby ordered to file same in the record accounts
of said Treasurer in accordance with this order.
Motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie and unanimously
approved by the Court.

N0. 14602 EMPLOYMENT OF EDDIE HOLLAND AS COUNTY EXTENSION AGENT OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 8th day of February 1982, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the employment of Eddie Holland as
County Extension Agent of Kerr County, Texas, effective P4arch 16th, 1982.
It is further ordered that his salary and allowance be fixed at the same rate as the
previous County Extension Agent - Salary $3348.00 per annum and travel allowance - $4104.00
per annum, effective date of employment.
