On this the 14th day of June 1982, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved a merit increase of Leo C. Martinez,
Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, from $13,500.00 per annum to $13,800.00 per annum,
a $25.00 per month increase, effective July 1st, 1982.

N0. 14700 APPROVAL OF MERIT INCREASES OF EVELYN OATES, FOR SERVICE AS JAIL MATRON AND ELLIOT
L. MICHELSON, CHIEF JAILER
On this the 14th day of June 1982, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved merit increases of Evelyn Oates,
for service as Jail Matron, from $1,500.00 per annum to $1,800.00 per annum and of Elliot L.
Michelson, Chief Jailer, from $12,000.00 per annum to $12,300.00 per annum, which is a $25.00
per month increase for each of these employees, effective July 1st, 1982.

by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved that Billy Joe Guthrie, Jr., Commis-
sioner of Kerr County Precinct No. 4, be authorized to accept bids for the following used
surplus equipment:
One 1969 Chevrolet Dump Truck, 5 yd. bed, 6 cy1. 4 speed, 2 speed rear end, 292 cu. in.
Engine.
One 1965 Ford 2 ton Chassis, 6 cyl., 4 speed, 2 speed rear end.

Equipment may be inspected at Kerr County Precinct 4 Yard in Ingram, Texas, between the
hours of 9:00 o'clock A. M, and 5:00 o'clock P. M., weekdays.
Sealed bids will be accepted by the County Clerk's Office until Friday, July 9th, 1982
at 5:00 o'clock P. M.
Publish in the official newspaper 6/30, 7/3 and 7/7/1982.

It is ordered that the Auditor and Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the
General Fund, payable to Earl Glass Commonwealth Attorneys Office in Louisville, Kentucky.

N0. 14705 ACCEPTANCE OF ROADWAYS IN SILVER CREEK ESTATES
On this the 30th day of June, 1982, came on to be considered by the Court, the matter
of acceptance of roadways in Silver Creek Estates, according to the plat recorded in Volume 4,
Page 188, Plat Records of Kerr County, Texas, in Commissioner's Precinct No. One.
Upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court
unanimously approved that the clauses stated in Order No. 13848, dated October 19, 1979,
recorded in Volume 0, Page 513 of the Commissioners' Court Dlinutes, in regard to Silver Creek
Estate, be rescinded and that Kerr County Precinct No. One, does accept the roadways in said
subdivision mentioned above.
