by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved acceptance of the negotiated Bid of
Bobby Reynolds for purchase of one 1965 Ford Cab and Chassis from Kerr County Precinct No.
Four in the amount of $275.00.

On this the 9th day of August 1982, up on m©tion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and County
Treasurer be authorized to apportion the sum of $40,000.00 from the F. M. & Lateral Road Fund
to the four Road F~ Bridge Precincts, as follows:
Road & Bridge No. 1 ---- $ 9,600.00
Road & Bridge No. 2 ---- $ 9,600.00
Road & Bridge No. 3 ---- $ 9,600.00

On this the 9t1a day of August 1982, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded

Treasurer be authorized to transfer the sum of $5,000.00 from the General Fund to the Jail
Operating Fund. '

On this the 9th day of August 1982, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded
by Commissioner Rolland, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and County
Treasurer be authorized to transfer the sum of $40,000.00 from the General Fund to the
Officers Salary Fund.

GENERAL WITNESS EXPENSE IN CAUSE N0. 783 - THE STATE OF TEXAS VS. JACK MINICA
On this the 9th day of August 1982, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved payment to the District Clerk of Kerr
County, Texas in the amount of $1,500.00 for general witness expense, in Cause No. 783 - The I
State of Texas vs. Jack Minica, in the 198th Judicial Judicial District court in Kerr County, i
Texas.
It is ordered by the Court that the Auditor and Treasurer are authorized to draw a ~~
voucher on the General Fund, payable to the District Clerk of Kerr County, Texas, in the above
amount.

Texas, for the period beginning April 1st, 1982 and ending June 30th, 1982, and the same

N0. 14755 ORDER GIVING NOTICE TO KERR COUNTY TAX APPRAISAL DISTRICT OF KERR COUNTY'S
TERMINATION OF CONTRACT FOR DUTIES OF TAX APPRAISAL OFFICE DATED JUNE 30, 1980
On this the 9th day of August, 1982 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
{ the matter of terminating the existing contract dated June 30, 1980 between Kerr County and
the Kerr County Tax Appraisal District which established the existing arrangement for the
location of the District's appraisal office in the office of the Kerr County Tax Assessor-
' Collector, and which required the appointment of the Kerr County Tax Assessor-Collector to be ,.
~I appointed as the District's Chief Appraiser; and it appearing to the Court after due considera
', tion that the termination of the existing agreement at the end of the current contract year on ',
' December 31, 1982 would be in the best interest of all parties, it is ordered on motion by
Commissioner Guthrie seconded by Commissioner Lich, and approved by the following vote:
' Voting Aye: Commissioners Speakmon, Lich and Guthrie and County Judge Neunhoffer
Voting No: Commissioner Holland
that Kerr County hereby gives notice to the Kerr County Tax Appraisal District that the
aforesaid contract for duties of appraisal office is ordered cancelled effective December 31,
1982 as per option contained in said contract; and it is further ordered that the Kerr County '
Tax Appraisal District be granted the option of continuing to occupy the area presently
occupied in the office of the Kerr County Tax Assessor-Collector and to continue to use items
': of capital equipment furnishings and facilities being provided under the existing contract
~' for a reasonable time on the existing basis pending decision of the Kerr County Tax Appraisal
Board as to the future location of the Tax Appraisal Office.
