On this the 24th day of August 1982, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved that Order No. 14743 - Re: Applica-
tion of Emmie TT. Muenker, County Clerk, for Appointment of Simona Garza, as Deputy County
Clerk, be amended as to the fixed salary of said Deputy, and that the salary be fixed at
$8,800.00 per annum ($740.00 per month), instead of $8,400.00 ($700.00 per month) as erroneous
ly shown.

COMMISSIONERS' COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION at 2:20 o'clock P.M., at the conclusion
of the Budget Hearing, with all members of the Court present and the following proceedings
were had:
N0. 14771 ADOPTION OF PROPOSED OPERATING BUDGET FOR KERR COUNTY, TEXAS FOR THE YEAR 1983
On this the 9th day of September 1982, came on to be considered by the Court the public
hearing in the matter of the Adoption of the County Budget for the year 1983.
It appearing to the Court that proper notices have been published in the Official News-
paper of Kerr County, in the City of Kerrville,. Texas, for one week prior to the hearing
date hereof, and after thorough examination by the Court and the consideration of the public
interest of the community, the Court is of the opinion that the Proposed Operating Budget for
Kerr County, Texas, for the calendar and fiscal year 1983, including General Revenue Sharing
~' Funds, should be approved.
Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Holland, the
Court unanimously approved adoption of the County Budget for the year 1983.
