N0. ONE FOR MAINTENANCE AS PUBLIC ROADS
On this the 11th day of October 1982, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the following roads
in Stone Ridge Subdivision in Precinct No. One be accepted for maintenance as public roads:
Ridge Road, Stone Ridge Drive and Valley Ridge Drive ;
Other Roads accepted for maintenance as public roads:
1. Monroe Drive - intersection of Monroe Drive to the intersection of Ridgeway
2. Ridgeway Drive - intersection of Monroe Drive, easterly 2/lOths of a mile
and
3. Portions of Old Highway 16 which have been turned back to Kerr County, as
shown in Minute Order No. 79971, on file in the County Clerk's Office.

the Jail Operating Fund.

NO. 14823 ORDER ACCEPTING RECOMPIENDATION FOR CLOSING OF CERTAIN PUBLIC ROADWAYS UPON
COMPLETION OF SPUR 535 ENTRANCE TO AIRPORT
On this the 11th day of October, 1982 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the recommendation of the Joint Airport Advisory Board and the Planning and Zoning Commission
of the City of Kerrville for the closing and abandonment of certain public roadways within
and in the proximity of the City-County Airport upon the completion of the proposed Spur 535
entrance roadway to Louis Schreiner Field; and it appearing to the Court that the construction

of the said Spur 535 together with the contemporaneous construction of a segment of connect
roadway within the airport will result in a relocation of the route of access to the public
use and commercial areas of the airport and will eliminate the need for the continuing public
use of the existing principal entrance to the west side of of Louis Schreiner Field as well
as certain other public roadways lying to the west of Spur 535; and it further appearing to ''

the Court that a commitment by Kerr County and the City of Kerrville to close such roadways isl'

an essential factor in the pending negotiations for the acquisition of right of way for the
route of Spur 535, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner ~'

No. 41; and it appearing to the Court that the aforesaid lease as to 5 tracts of road right
of way as originally conveyed to Kerr County in fee simple in the year 1930 has been negotiat-,'

~' ed, drawn and approved by County Attorney H. Ritman Jons, and that it would be in the best ~'
~ interests of Kerr County to approve the lease as drawn for a 3 year period with Everest
~I Minerals Corporation, the lessee as to the oil, gas and minerals under the abutting privately

!' owned lands, for the total consideration offered, and it further appearing that the notice
~' of the Court's proposed action has been posted in the Kerr County Courthouse for more than
