Upon the completion of the construction of Spur 535 by the State of Texas, Kerr County and the City of Kerrville will proceed through proper administrative procedures to ~~ i close and abandon the existing public roadways on and in the proximity of Louis Schreiner h Field as set forth in Commissioners' Court Order No. 14,823 dated October 11, 1982, and as concurred in by the City Council of the City of Kerrville on October 12, 1982, which road- ' ways include the present principal entrance roadway from State Highway 27 to Louis Schreiner Field. This action shall, however, be subject to the retention of access by the City of Kerrville and Kerr County to the existing airport water tower site and also the continuing use of an access route by Mooney Aircraft, Inc. from the Peterson Farm Road to its existing leasehold areas abutting the existing main access road to the airport. 2. Upon completion of Spur 535 and the entrance roadway abandonment procedures set forth in paragraph 1 herein, Kerr County and the City of Kerrville will jointly reimburse the j Corporation's independent contractors for the relocation and/or construction of fencing along the south west side of that portion of the abandoned principal entrance roadway running from the Peterson Farm Road to the point of access retained in favor of Mooney Aircraft, Inc. to ~ its present airport leasehold area, and also reimburse such independent contractors for any necessary connecting roadway work, all in a total amount not to exceed $18,000.00 for work actually performed to Mooney's specifications and approval. It is further ordered that the foregoing offer shall become binding on Kerr County ~' and, subject to concurrence herein by the City of Kerrville, on both the City and the County upon the final approval of the Corporation's executed right of way easement as aforesaid by the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation and its being filed for record in the office of the Clerk of Kerr County. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 14838 ORDER AUTHORIZING AND GRANTING RIGHT OF WAY EASEMENT ON AIRPORT PROPERTY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF LOOP 535 ACCESS ROAD On this the 8th day of November, 1982 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of joining with the City of Kerrville in the granting of the right of way easement at the eastern terminus of the State portion of the Loop 535 airport access road right of way and authorizing the execution of such right of way easement; and it appearing to the Court that the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation requires a right of way ease- ment on a portion of the City-County airport property comprising 1.896 acres of land out of W. T. Crook Survey No. 71, Abstract No. 114, which easement has been designated as Right of Way Parcel No. 4 and is situated in the extreme northwest corner of the airport property at the point of joinder between the Loop 535 airport access road and the connecting roadway i, within the airport property to be constructed by the City of Kerrville and Kerr County, and that such right of way easement is necessary for the completion of the new access road project'', it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Lich, and unani- mously approved by the Court that Kerr County join with the City of Kerrville in granting the aforesaid right of way easement comprising 1.896 acres of land out of Survey No. 71 W.
