APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO CITY/COUNTY FIRE FIGHTING
CONTRACT
On this the 26th day of May 1982, upon motion made
by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner
Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved an Amendment
to the City/County Fire Fighting Agreement.
Effective June 1st, 1982, Kerr County will pay to
the City of Kerrville the rate of $2,000.00 per month
for fire service rendered and terminating on September
30th, 1982, under the identical terms and conditions
of the existing second one-year extension of the existing
fire contract, which was initially approved on September
11, 1979 and which began on October 1, 1979.
Said new rate of $24,000 per annum takes the place of
the existing Section 2 of the contract which provided
for unit cost for Class 1 and Class 2 fires.

This Agreement by and between the CITY OF KERRVILLE,
Kerr County, Texas, hereinafter called "City", acting through
its Mayor and attested by its City Clerk, and the COUNTY OF
KERR, hereinafter called "County", acting through the Commis-
sinners Court of such County, pursuant to the order of the
said Commissioners Court:
WITNESSETH:
The City and County agree to the establishing of a new
manner of payment wherein the County will pay to the City
monthly the rate of $2,000 per month for fire service rendered
hereunder beginning on June 1, 1982, and terminating on
September 30, 1982, under the identical terms and conditions
of the existing second one-year extension of the existing
fire contract which was initially approved an September 11,
1979, and which began on October 1, 1979.
This new rate of $24,000 per annum takes the place of the
existing Section 2 of the contract which provided for unit
cost for Class 1 and Class 2 fires.
