APPROVAL OF REQUEST OF DORIS LEE SMITH, TAX ASSESSOR-
COLLECTOR, TO DESIGNATE HARRIET DIXON AS ASSISTANT
CHIEF DEPUTY TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR
On this the 10th day of January 1983, upon motion made by
Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Holland,
the Court unanimously approved the request of Doris Lee
Smith, Tax Assessor-Collector, to designate Harriet Dixon,
who has returned from a leave of absence, as Assistant
Chief Deputy, at a salary of $525.00 per month ($6300.00)
per annum, working a 20-hour week, on a regular basis,
effective January 10th, 1983.

Gentlemen:
- Harriet Dixon has been on leave of absence, but she will
be returning on January 10, 1983. She was serving as my
Chief Deputy prior to her leave, but at her request she
will be servina as my Assistant Chief Deputy when she
returns. She will only be working a 20 hour. week, but
on a regular basis. I respectfully request a monthly
salary of $525.00 or $6300 per annum.
