N0. 14892 ORDER FOR PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF COUNTY DEPOSITORY FOR TWO YEAR PERIOD
On this the 10th day of January 1983, came on to be considered by the Court the
necessity to make notice by publication for the County Depository for two ensuing years, as
per Article 2544, Vernon's Texas Statutes, and it appearing to the Court that such notice
should be in compliance with Article 2544, V.T.S. to enter into a contract with any banking
corporation, association or individual banker of said County, for the Depository of the
County Funds, County and District Court Trust Funds and County Public School Funds of said
County in any bank; therefore, on motion duly made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by
Commissioner Holland, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the County Judge be, and
is hereby directed to issue such notice of publication in the official newspaper of Kerr
County, located within the city of Kerrville, Kerr County, Texas, within twenty days before
the Regular February Term, to comply with said Article 2544, V.T.S.

" N0. 14894 RESOLUTION RELATING TO APPROVAL OF FINANCING OF COr~A1ERCIAL PROJECTS; AND
I COiQTAINING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE SUBJECT
WHEREAS, Kerr County (the "Unit"), a political subdivision of the State of Texas, has

approved and authorized the creation of the Kerr County Industrial Development Corporation
' (the "Corporation") as a Texas non-profit corporation, pursuant to the provisions of the
Development Corporation Act of 1979, Article 5190.6, Vernon's Annotated Texas Civil Statutes,
as amended (the "Act"), to act on behalf of the Unit to promote and develop industrial and
manufacturing enterprises to promote and encourage employment and the public welfare; and
6Ti-IEREAS, the Corporation is authorized by the Act to issue bonds on behalf of the Unit
to finance all or a part of the costs of a 'project' as defined i.n the Act;
WHEREAS, the Unit has been designated by the Economic Development Administration, a
federal agency, as an economically distressed county.
WHEREAS, the population of the Unit is Less than 50,000 according to the 1980 federal
decennial census; and
WHEREAS, the Act provides that, in a federally designated economically distressed county
of less than 50,000 persons according to the last federal decennial census, a project may
