N0. 14908 ORDER FIXING COMPENSP.TION OF JAILERS AND DISPATCHERS EMPLOYED BY
KERR COUNTY SHERIFF
On this the 10th day of January, 19$3 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of fixing the compensation to be paid, effective January 1, 1983, to the jailers'
and dispatchers employed by the Kerr County Sheriff; and it appearing to the Court that the
compensation paid such personnel pursuant to certain prior orders of the Court should be
adjusted in accordance with certain compensation increases granted other County personnel
effective January 1, 1983, it is ordered on mation by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Guthrie and unanimously approved by the court that the compensation to be
paid such jailers and dispatchers shall be fixed as follows effective January 1, 1983,
payable out of Jail Operating Fund:
1. Elliot L. Michelson, Chief Jailer,
2. William B. Cobler, Assist. Chief Jailer,
3. Arthur G. Hastings, Late Night Dispatcher,
4. Other dispatchers as follows:
Beginning dispatchers shall be paid $840.00
attainment of 90 days experience, or sooner
$12,00.00 per annum
$11,700.00 per annum
$10,740.00 per annum
per month and upon
at the discretion
of the Sheriff, they shall be paid $865.00 per month.
All payments to personnel not individually named in this order shall be made monthly ~
upon certification by the Sheriff to the County Treasurer and the County Auditor of the
names of the persons employed and their individual rates of compensation as fixed within
the rate provisions of this order.

N0. 14909 APPROVAL OF INCREASE IN PAY FOR GRAND JURY AND PETIT JURY BAILIFFS IN
DISTRICT AND COUNTY COURT AND JUSTICE OF THE PEACE COURTS
On this the 10th day of January 1983, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie,
seconded by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved an increase in pay for
the Grand Jury and Petit Jury Bailiffs in District and County Court and Justice of the
Peace Courts, from $25.00 per day to $27.50 per day (w'rich is a $2.50 per day increase)
effective as of January 10th, 1983.
