N0. 14908 ORDER FIXING COMPENSP.TION OF JAILERS AND DISPATCHERS EMPLOYED BY
KERR COUNTY SHERIFF
On this the 10th day of January, 1983 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of fixing the compensation to be paid, effective January 1, 1983, to the jailers
and dispatchers employed by the Kerr County Sheriff; and it appearing to the Court that the
compensation paid such personnel pursuant to certain prior orders of the Court should be
adjusted in accordance with certain compensation increases granted other County personnel
effective January 1, 1983, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Guthrie and unanimously approved by the court that the compensation to be
paid such jailers and dispatchers shall be fixed as follows effective January 1, 1983,
payable out of Jail Operating Fund:
1. Elliot L. Michelson, Chief Jailer, $12,900.00 per annum
2. William B. Cobler, Assist. Chief Jailer, $11,700.00 per annum
3. Arthur G. Hastings, Late Night Dispatcher,
4. Other dispatchers as follows:
Beginning dispatchers shall be paid $840.00

N0. 14909 APPROVAL OF INCREASE IN PAY FOR GRAND JURY AND PETIT JURY BAILIFFS IN
DISTRICT AND COUNTY COURT AND JUSTICE OF THE PEACE COURTS
On this the 10th day of January 1983, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie,
seconded by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved an increase in pay for
the Grand Jury and Petit Jury Bailiffs in District and County Court and Justice of the
Peace Courts, from $25.00 per day to $27.50 per day (which is a $2.50 per day increase),
effective as of January 10th, 1983.

Smith, Tax Assessor-Collector, to designate Harriet Dixon, who has returned from a
leave of absence, as Assistant Chief Deputy, at a salary of $525.00 per month ($6300.00
per annum), working a 20-hour week, on a regular basis, effective January 10th, 1983.

the last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Auditor
and Treasurer, in amounts and out of General Road & Bridge, Road & Bridge Prec. ~~1 and
General Fund, as shown in the Disbursements Journal in the County Auditor's Office, which
are made a part hereof and of this order.
