COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION FEBRUARY 1st, 1983 at 7:03 o'clock P, M., with
the following officers present:

BILLY JOE GUTHRIE, JR.	Commissioner	Precinct	4
and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
N0. 14933 APPOINTMENT OF CLIFTON ALLEN GREESON TO FILL THE VACANCY IN THE OFFICE OF SHERIFF
OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS, CREATED BY THE RESIGNATION OF PAUL FIELDS
On this the 1st day of February 1983, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, with Commissioner Holland, Commissioner Higgins and County Judge
Morriss voting "AYE" and Commissioner Lich and Commissioner Guthrie voting "NO", said motion
carrying by a majority vote, that Clifton Allen Greeson be appointed to fill the vacancy in
the office of Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, which was created by the resignation of Paul
F9_elds.
Said appointment to be effective upon his qualification, March 1st, 1983 at 10:00 o'clock
A. M. and that the said Clifton Allen Greeson be appointed to serve through December 31st,
1984, which would be the complete term of Paul Fields.
