G?hereas the majority of parking spaces within the Courthouse grounds are being occupied
during regular office hours by others than those having, business in the Courthouse, thereby
causing considerable inconvenience to visitors having business in the Courthouse, and
bdhereas on-going plans of neighboring institutions will likely worsen the situation, on
motion by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Higgins and unanimously approved by
the Commissioners' Court, Commissioner Holland is appointed to study the problem and coordinate
with the City of Kerrville and other interesT.ed parties toward a recommendation for an accept- --•
able solution.

On this the 14th day of February 1983, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved a 36 month no interest lease of one
SAVIN 870 Copier with 10 bin sorter for use by the County Extension Agents of Kerr County,
Texas, with payments to be in the amount of $193.75 per month.

N0. 14946 APPROVAL OF COUNTY TREASURER'S REPORT FOR QUARTER ENDING DECEMBER 31st, 1932
On this the 14th day of February 1983, in Regular Session of Commissioners' Court, came
on for examination the Quarterly Report of Dorothy Smith, County Treasurer of Kerr County,
Texas, for the period beginning October 1st, 1982 and ending December 31st, 1982, and the
same having been examined and compared by the Court and found correct.
And it appearing to the Court that during the said time the Treasurer has received f_or
account and credit and paid out of each of said funds as reflected in the report and become
a part hereof; and that said accounts received and paid out of the respective funds, since
the filing of the preceding report and during the period above stated, are found correct as
therein shown.
It is therefore ordered by the Court that said detailed report be, and the same is hereby
approved and the Clerk of the Court is hereby ordered to file same in the record accounts of
said Treasurer in accordance with this order.

N0. 14948 ORDER AUTHORIZING .4ETHOD OF COMPENSATION PAYMENTS TO TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES IN KERR
CENTRAL APPRAISAL DISTRICT
On this the 14th day of February, 1983, came on to be considered the method to be used
in compensating temporary employees in the Kerr Central Appraisal District Offices; and it
appearing to the Court that it would be beneficial to have a standard method for payroll
purposes to compensate all employees in said offices working on a temporary basis, it is
ordered on motion by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, and unanimously
approved by the Court that such personnel shall be paid monthly upon certification by the
Chief Appraiser of the Kerr Central Appraisal District to the County Treasurer of the names
of the persons so employed and their individual rates of compensation.

TAX APPRAISAL DISTRICT

ed by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that the termination of the employ-
ment of Tammy Smart as Deputy Appraiser in the Kerr County Tax Appraisal District be ratified
and confirmed, effective March 2nd, 1983, for payroll purposes.
