N0. 14991 ORDER RATIFYING CLOSING OF ENTRANCE FROP4 SIDNEY BAKER STREET ON TO THE COURTHOUSE
GROUNDS
On this the 31st day of March 1983, upon motion made by County Judge Morriss, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved an order ratifying the closing of the
entrance from Sidney Baker Street on to the Courthouse Grounds.

N0. 14992 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING- RE: PARKING SPACES WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE KERP.
COUNTY COURTHOUSE

Whereas the unassigned parking spaces within the boundaries of the Kerr County Court- ~

house are regularly occupied for extended periods cottuitencing prior to the Courthouse opening
for business, and
Whereas the drivers and passengers of the vehicles occupying those spaces have business
outside the Courthouse grounds perimeter, extending beyond a reasonable period of time, to the
exclusion of those who seek to use the spaces because of business in the Courthouse during
regular business hours, and
Whereas the conditions so described are prevalent every business day, the Kerr County
Commissioners' Court in accord with the provisions of Article 6701 g V.C.T.S. hereby give ~
notice of a public hearing to be held on April 13th, 1983 at 7:30 o'clock P. M., in the County,
Courtroom of the Kerr County Courthouse in Kerrville, Texas, at which time suitable regula-

tions to correct the conditions hereinbefore described will be presented, namely, a two hour
limitation on parking in unassigned spaces within the Courthouse grounds and the closing of
certain entrances. Motion made b-~ Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Higgins
and unanimously approved by the Court.

N0. 14993 ORDER AUTHORIZING SHERIFF TO TAKE NECESSARY STEPS TO COMPLY WITH THE TEXAS
COMMISSION OF JAIL STANDARDS AS RELATED TO LIGHTING AND CELL LOCKS
On this the 31st day of March 1983, upon motion madety Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved that the Sheriff, Clifton A. Greeson,'`
be authorized to take the necessary steps to comply with the Texas Commission of Jail Stand-
ards as related to the lighting and cell locks in the Kerr County Detention Facility.

SIGNS IN UNINCORPORATED AREAS OF KERB COUNTY, TEXAS
Whereas there are increasing instances of vandalizing traffic control devices and
street signs in unincorporated areas of Kerr County, Texas, an order outlining penalties
''' for damaging or removing signs and devices will be considered at a public hearing to be held
April 13th, 1983 at 7:30 o'clock P. M., in the County Courtroom of the Kerr County Courthouse
in Kerrville, Texas, in accordance with Sections 5 and 6 of Article 6701, V.C.T.S.
Motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Higgins and unanimously
approved by the Court.
