N0. 15028 RESOLUTION AND ORDER
On this 9th day of P4ay, 1983, at a regular meeting of the Commissioners' Court of
Kerr County, Texas, there came on for consideration a resolution to provide for an additional
penalty for delinquent ad valorem taxes, and motion was made by Commissioner Holland, and
seconded by Commissioner Higgins, that:
1. During such time that said County has contracted with an attorney to enforce
the collection of delinquent taxes pursuant to V.T.C.A., Tax Code, Sec. 6.30, ad valorem
taxes that remain delinquent on July 1 of the year in which they become delinquent incur an
additional penalty of 15% of the amount of taxes, penalty and interest due to defray costs
of collection by said attorney, as provided by V.T.C.A., Tax Code, Sec. 33.07.
2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage.

N0. 15030 RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, because of the magnitude and scope of the current investigation being conducted",
into the mysterious deaths of infant children in Bexar and Kerr Counties there is no way to
ascertain the extent of the expenses which will be incurred;
and, i,
WHEREAS, Kerr County does not have funds budgeted to cover anticipated expenses such ~ yy
as scientific investigation, professional consultant fees, and travel;
NOGT, THEREFORE, Be it resolved that the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County request
that the pending grant application filed with the Criminal Justice Council by Kerr County
District Attorney Ronald Sutton and Bexar County District Attorney Sam Millsap be approved
in order that both counties might benefit.
Motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Lich and unanimously
approved by the Court.

KERR COUNTY CRIMINAL DOCKET
On this the 9th day of May, 1933, came on to be considered by the Court the matter of
ratifying judgments as listed below entered on the criminal docket of the Kerr County Court
on December 16, 1983 against certain defendants as principals and Harvey Sab as surety:
1. The State of Texas versus Edward Chacon Menchaca as principal, et a1, recorded in
County Court Minutes, Volume 26 page 215 of Kerr County, Texas, and also an Abstract of
