into the mysterious deaths of infant children in Bexar and Kerr Counties there is no way to
ascertain the extent of the expenses which will be incurred;

[WHEREAS, Kerr County does not have funds budgeted to cover anticipated expenses such

as scientific investigation, professional consultant fees, and travel;
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved that r..he Commissioners' Court of Kerr County request
that the pending grant application filed with the Criminal Justice Council by Kerr County
District Attorney Ronald Sutton and Bexar County District Attorney Sam Millsap be approved
in order that both counties might benefit.
Motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Lich and unanimously
approved by the Court.

N0. 15031 ORDER RATIFYING JUDGMENTS IN CERTAIN BOND FORFEITURE JUDGMENTS ENTERED ON THE
KERR COUNTY CRIMINAL DOCKET
On this the 9th day of May, 1983, came on to be considered by the Court the matter of
ratifying judgments as listed below entered on the criminal docket of the Kerr County Court
on December 16, 1983 against certain defendants as principals and Harvey Sab as surety: ',
1. The State of Texas versus Edward Chacon Menchaca as principal, et a1, recorded in
County Court Minutes, Volume 26 page 215 of Kerr County, Texas, and also an Abstract of
Judgment was filed in Bandera County in Official Public Records in Volume 213 on pages
127-28, for the amount of $2,000.00 and court costs;
