PRECINCT 1, PENDING RECEIPT OF RELEASE OF LIABILITY ~
On this the 12th day of September, 1983, came on to be considered the matter of payment ~I
of back salary and expenses to W. T. Sandlin, Constable of Precinct 1; and it appearing to j
the Court that all parties concerned have agreed on an amount of compensation in full payment;

of back salary and expenses, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by
Commissioner Lich, and unanimously approved by the Court that W. T. Sandlin be compensated ,i
for services performed as Constable of Precinct 1 from January 1, 1981 through April 30,
1983, in the amount of $2800.00.
It is further ordered that upon receipt of a release from liability for any further
claims against Kerr County on behalf of W. T. Sandlin for any past services performed or
expenses incurred, the County Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher payable to W. T.
Sandlin in the amount of $2800.00 in full settlement of claims against Kerr County for back
salary and expenses incurred in the performance of duties by W. T. Sandlin as Constable of
Precinct 1; said funds to be paid out of the General Fund of Kerr County.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the County of Kerr, under the Sobs Training Partnership Act of 1982 (TTPA), j
has entered into an agreement between the Counties of Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Frio,
Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Medina, Wilson, and the City of San Antonio
which will act as administrative entity of the Service Delivery Area (SDA); and
WHEREAS, the Area County Judges, sitting in regular session and acting on behalf of the '

Counties of Atascosa, Bandera, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, i

Medina and Wilson did take the following actions regarding the nine month plan for JTPA:
1. Approve the Charter for the Private Industry Council;
2. Approve the Plan of the Employment Service for the SDA:
3. Approve the functions recommended to be continued under JTPA;
', 4. Approve operational and administrative funding for Bexar County/City of San Antonio
?! as well as for the rural portion of the Plan; and
j,' S. Selected the Alamo Area Council of Governments as the administrator and program
operator for JTPA for the Area Counties for FY '84.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSIONERS' COURT OF Kerr County, that the
actions taken by the Area County Judges of the Alamo Service Delivery Area are approved by
this Court.
