COMMISSIONERS' COURT convened at 1:30 o'clock P.M., September 16th, 1983,
with the following officers present:
GORDON S. MORRISS	County Judge		
FRED HOLLAND	Commissioner	Precinct	1
EDWARD D. HIGGINS	Commissioner	Precinct	2
VICTOR LICH	Commissioner	Precinct	3
BILLY JOE GUTHRIE, JR.	Commissioner	Precinct	4
at which time a public hearing on the proposed operating budget for Kerr County, for the
fiscal year beginning October 1st, 1983 through September 30, 1984, including General Revenue 'I
Sharing Funds, was held.
23 members of the public were present at the public hearing.
Motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded by Commissioner Holland that the public
hearing be adjourned and unanimously approved by the Court.
The public hearing adjourned September 16th, 1983 at 2:20 P.M.

at which time a public hearing was held in the County Courtroom of the Kerr County Courthouse~l,
in Kerrville, Texas, to consider proposed salary increases for certain elected County and
Precinct Officials of Kerr County, Texas, as per notice published in the Official Newspaper
of Kerr County, Texas.
23 members of the public appeared for the meeting.
Motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Higgins and unanimously
approved by the Court that said hearing be adjourned.

and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
N0. 15187 APPROVAL OF SALARY INCREASE OF THE JUSTICE OF THE PEACE OF PRECINCT N0. 2
On this the 16th day of September 1983, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins,
seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that the salary of the Justice
of the Peace of Precinct No. Two be increased from $6,840.00 per annum to $9,000.00 per
annum (a salary increase of $2,160.00 per annum), effective October 1st, 1983.

N0. 15188 APPROVAL OF SALARY ADJUSTMENT OF LINDA BAKER, ASSISTANT TO THE COUNTY EXTENSION
AGENTS AND 4-H PROGRAM COORDINATOR
On this the 16th day of September 1983, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland,
seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved a salary adjustment of Linda
Baker, Assistant to the County Extension Agents and 4-H Program Coordinator, from $9,180.00
