z~!~tt t N0. 152b1 APPROVAL OF LETTER PROPOSAL TO FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION CONCERNING PROPOSED AUTOMATED FLIGHT SERVICE STATION On this the 14th day of November, 1983, came on to be considered the matter of approving a letter proposal to be forwarded to the FAA in response to their recent Solicitations for Offers concerning the proposed Automated Flight Service Station; and it appearing to the Court that the City and County are in a position to hold further discussions with the FAA, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Higgins, seconded by Judge Morriss, and unanimously approved by the Curt that the County Judge be authorized to execute such letter proposal al or with Mayor Thomas W. Pollard, such action to concur with that taken by the City of Kerrville at its regular meeting on November 8, 1983. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o COURT ADJOURNED NOVEMBER 14th, 1983 at 5:00 o'clock P. M. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o RE: ORDER N0. 15208 CONTRACT On this the 6 day of October, 1983, the Kerr Central Appraisal District (hereinafter referred to as the District) and Kerr County, Texas, acting by and through its Commissioners' Court, have entered into the following agreement: PURPOSE The parties to this agreement, acting pursuant to the authority of Article 4413(32c), Revised Civil Statutes, known as the Interlocal Cooperation Act, have agreed that Kerr County will provide office space for the District's operation within the office area of the Kerr County Tax Assessor-Collector's office in the Kerr County Tax Offise at the Kerr County Court- house. TERM This contract shall, upon its ratification by both parties, be effective from July 1, 1983 through December 31, 1983, and shall be automatically extended for successive periods of twelve (12) months each unless terminated by either governing body of the parties hereto by giving notice to the governing body of the other party no later than January 1 of any contract year, termination to be effective on June 30 following notice of termination. Should this contract be terminated, the parties agree that all capital equipment furnishings and facilities supplied by Kerr County shall remain the property of Kerr County. COSTS OF OPERATION Kerr County agrees to continue to furnish the office space previously furnished the District within the office area of the Kerr County Tax Assessor-Collector under a prior contra and to do so at no cost other than a monthly lump sum charge of $100.00 to defray portions of utilities and building maintenance costs, doing so in the interest of minimizing the cost of the District's operation, which costs must be borne by all the taxpayers of Kerr County and its various political subdivisions. Kerr County agrees to continue to provide existing furnishing and equipment, and to assess a rental charge of 1221 annually of the original cost of furnishing and equipment purchased for the purposes of carrying out the obligations of this contract. The District agrees that all equipment furnished by Kerr County under the terms of this contract shall remain within the space provided for the Disrict's operation, for the exclusive use of District employees while performing duties connected with the business operation of the District. When such furnishings or equipment have been fully amortized, under this and prior contracts, no further rental charge shall be assessed on it.
