COUNTIES, EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 15th, 1983

'~ by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved acceptance of Insurance Plan B offered

by the Texas Association of Counties, effective the date of termination of the County's

existing insurance policy, which will expire December 14th, 1983 (said coverage to be effec-
I~ tive December 15th, 1983). '

On this the 18th day of November 1983, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, with Commissioners Holland and Lich and County Judge Morriss voting j
"AYE" and Commissioners Higgins and Guthrie voting "NO", said motion carrying by a majority

vote, approving an order declaring December 26th, 1983 as a Holiday and that the Courthouse

shall be closed on that day.

N0. ].5264 APPOINTMENT OF PHIL DeMASCO TO THE VETERANS' LAND BOARD
On this the 18th day of November 1983, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland,
seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the appointment of PHIL DeMASCO
to the Veterans' Land Board to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of MARTY SORRELL,
effective December 1st, 1983.

ORDER APPOINTING SPECIAL COUNTY JUDGE TO SERVE IN
KERR COUNTY. TEXAS
On this the 7 day of December, 1983, I appoint Julius R. Neunhoffer, a retired County
Judge who has served at least eight years as County Judge of a county in this State, to serve
as Special County Judge of Kerr County for the period December 7, 1983,
This appointment is made on the motion of the Court and pursuant to Article 1933a,
Sec. 3, Vernon's Annotated Revised Civil Statutes.
